Dont know if this has been discussed here or not, or if anyone has any experience with it.
Just got the apple watch last night and I'm wondering what the rules will be for them while sitting at a table.
Actually was one of the first things I thought was, COOL now I can actually read my texts at the table! But I know that isnt going to fly for long!

    Thoughts or experience?

I used to have a gear watch and I had some casinos tell me to remove it while I was playing. Some places had no idea what it was and never said anything.

In the casino I work at, if your using a smart watch, and its obvious your not just looking at the time, we are going to request you to remove it or at the very least turn off the bluetooth to it, especially on hand held poker games where one could be sharing info with another. It is not because we don't want you to check your messages, we don't want cheating and we don't want you holding up the game so you can check your messages, or with watches with cameras, using a camera at the table.

Only casino on the strip that I know will let you text and read emails at the tables, is PH. Everywhere else, will have you step away. I was at a UTH table last year during CES and one of the players had a huge Samsung phone and a Samsung watch. The pit talked about for awhile, but ended up letting him keep it on.

You could be getting Instagrams from a co-conspirator.

He wasn't betting much $15 to $25 a spot...this was on the main floor. He seemed to be real chatty with all the pit crew too, so they probably let it slide.

Smart watches have been around for a while. And they're a big no-no at most casinos. I've seen people get told to take them off many times in many different casinos.
