I would love to get one of their craps tables. That's where my love affair with the game was all started!! Getting it back home to Akron would be another thing all together.

I'm going to Vegas on May 20th. I wonder if it will still be going on.

I have a feeling that anything worth having will be gone the first day.

I read on Vital Vegas, at least on his twitter that Sands and possibly Wynn are trying to stop the sale because they do not what the LVCC to encroach on their convention business.

Those trolleys with plates in 'em look to hold about 600 plates each. With a few meals out per year, that would mean 2 years without having to do the dishes!

Anyone plan on going to the Riviera liquidation sale?

I think I am going to go check this out May 14th when it opens. I'm not going in hopes of buying anything per-se, but I think it would be cool to go check out and document how they handle it, how much they are charging, etc.

I will probably be there early so if any VMBers want to meet up let me know!

I'll be in town a couple of week later. I wonder if there would be anything worth a damn to buy. Mostly what I'd want would be decks of cards or craps dice. Maybe a sweet satin casino jacket?

I'm still 2 weeks out but if it's still open I'll stop by. It's just at the casino?

I'm planning on checking it out. I see they are pricing complete 'room packages' for $299 and one of the chandeliers in the lobby for $3500.

I haven't heard of any pricing. I called the NCL number on their website and was told they had no idea on the prices, that the entry fee was $10 (which I knew), and that the entrance was off of Riviera Blvd. There is not an entrance off of Riviera so I'm thinking she meant the corner of LV Blvd and Riviera.

The room packages are listed on their website. I saw the chandelier price on another site, vital vegas or something similar.

I'm dying to go, but I don't get in until the 20th. I know that generally it said that the sale would be ongoing until everything was sold. Does anyone have any experience with this type of thing from previous closures? That said, do you think the sale will still be running a week later?
