Curious about this also? I planned on hitting up Paris and Ballys on my my next trip based off of the no 6/5 information.

I don't remember ever seeing a $25 3:2 pitch game at MGM, except maybe mid-week, during the day. Even before the 6:5 change that I announced at the beginning of this post, the $25 pitch games I saw at MGM were always 6:5. Even in the pit adjacent to the high limit slots and craps tables, they were 6:5 last year when I sat down there thinking it was 3:2

During the first week of March I saw a mix of 6:5 and 3:2 games at Bally's. Mostly 3:2, but in that row of tables right across from the cage a 6:5 and 3:2 game were right next to each other.

I actually just came back from a trip and stayed at Paris for one night. Reg $15 tables had 3/2 BJ 6 deck surrender games. I played that as well as in the High limit area at $100. High limit area had similar set up of 3/2 BJ, 6 deck, DAS, Surrender

I am thinking that if MGM is switching to 6/5 it is only to maximize profits during the mayweather fight. Then after that go back to 3/2 after.

I was in Vegas in March and explaining to my wife the deal with 6/5 BJ. She did not really get it until I dragged her over to the Gold Coast to play a $5 (most she will play) DD,3/2, pitch game. We both won and doubled our money collectively mostly because between the 2 of us we had 7 blackjacks (I know since they give 50 cent pieces). I told her that if we were playing 6/5 we would have won $10.50 less or 10.5%

We were there last week. Most tables were 6/5 but we did find a 3/2 table further back for 25$ minimum (6 deck). We had to ask one of the dealers.

We stayed at bellagio and there all bj tables were 3/2 with the lower ones autoshuffle and from 25 regular shuffle. During the day you could find 15 dollar games that were regular shuffle.

Wonder when they will invent some crap in lieu of craps. Maybe the sucker bets in the middle keep the pass line/odds bets safe, for now at least :)

But even if a dive casino is as greedy as demanding higher resort fee than its room rate, then I guess craps is not far away on the "to be screwed up" list.

If they mess with craps, it'll be to take away the 'odds' bet...or rather, they will stop paying true odds on the "odds bet".

But that one will be really tough to implement... croupiers are so used to paying odds bets properly, they'd have real trouble adjusting.

I've noticed this with dealers on 'Free Bet Blackjack' tables...forgetting that their 22s are a push with the players.

This is horrible news as I'm staying at MGM next week... Will confirm the damages then but if it's true, I'll have to find 3/2 BJ some where else or play more UTH or Pai Gow.

That's what i'm waiting on. Slight changes to the free odds. Honestly I'm surprised it hasn't happened yet.
