Any coffee snobs out there have a favorite place for coffee? I always like to go to Palio at Bellagio to have a coffee and a pastry. I also like the atmosphere there. BTW, not the Palio Express that Bellagio has closest to the corner of Flamingo and Las Vegas Blvd.

I've also tried Jean Philippe both at Aria and Bellagio. I like it, but I like Palio better. I may try out some new places suggested by the members of this board.

When I stayed at Wynn in November I thought the coffee that was being served in the cafes was pretty good.

Aria and Bellagio serve the same brand of coffee, Douwe Egberts, and it's the tasting coffee in my opinion. Too bad, It's commercial grade that only restaurants get them. I bought some on Amazon but it's not the same.

North Side Café (formerly the Griddle Café) at SLS serves fresh ground in a French Press at your table. I don't know what brand the coffee is, but it's really good.

Not the burned low quality beans Starbucks serves. Marketing 101! You can always sell an inferior product with superior marketing!

Sambalatte at Monte Carlo gets my vote.

Over-roasted beans require milk and sugar which equals a $5 drink and huge margins for Starbucks. I have mine black and agree that Mon Ami Gabi coffee is pretty great. At home I'm a big fan of Melitta.

Thanx! I'll be headed to Monte Carlo next time. Mon Ami Gabi is great along with Bouchon at Venetian. I'll have to try Wynn and SLS too.

When at Bellagio, I'm always looking for coffee before most places are open, so I go into Cafe Bellagio and get a cup to go. Best coffee I've had in Vegas.

I thought the cup of coffee at Prime was the best coffee I ever tasted. It was definitely some SERIOUS gourmet s**t! :)

Not been (bean!) to Sambalatte's MonteCarlo branch yet, but the Summerlin branch has a huge range of coffee from different named regions (eg. Ethiopean Yirgacheffe) rather than 'Brands', plus choice of brewing method (espresso, filter, Aeropress etc) as well as the nasty hot milkshake drinks that seem to be the standard offerings at 'coffee shops' these days.

It could be exactly the same coffee and still not taste as good. Coffee ordered over the intenet will never be freshly roasted, and that is one key to good coffee. Coffee served at Bellagio had better be freshly roasted.

As long as the cocktail waitress remembers to put in Bailey's in my coffee I'm not too picky about the brand of coffee.
