I had asked about Planet Hollywoods high limit room already but which CET properties have the better high limit rooms? Such as atmosphere, table mins, size, environment, tables, etc etc. I also like to play with at least 2 person at a BJ table. So preferably a room where people are usually present. BJ is my game so that's the game I'm mainly looked for in high limit rooms. Thanks!
You're probably looking for Caesars on a weekend. I have usually found BJ tables with at least one or two other players there, at least on the weekends. It is, by far, the nicest of the CET high limit rooms. There are more bac tables than BJ tables, but they usually have two to six BJ tables open. The drink service there is decent and there is a nice area to sit in and relax when you're not playing. I have seen a $100 table in there on a Tuesday morning, but on weekends I have seen $300 and up. Hope that helps
IMHO I liked playing in the Flamingo and Bally's HL rooms since you could see $25 mins in these rooms at times. People being present is really going to depend on when you go, eg date / time and how many tables are open. A weekend night after 8pm and you will have no problem with others at the table, in fact the table mins will climb. Not sure what has happened with Harrahs since the casino remodel. Caesars is nice, but you will not find anything less then $100 a hand in Blackjack, or at least that has been my experience. Also I am not sure what level of rules you are looking for. If you are playing HL for comps, and you are not playing BJ at least 175 per hand, there is no point to really playing at CP or PHo since I don't think your going to move the needle much, unless you are putting in serious hours.
Are the BJ rules at CP high limit room as good as the rules in the Bally's HL room? On their 6-deck HL game, Bally's has S17, resplit aces and late surrender.
CP does have the same rules as the Bally's high limit. Caesars also offers the highest limits on the strip for anybody just walking in off the street. They aren't afraid of big action and you will see big play in the room. I would rank the CET high limit rooms in the following order: 1. Caesars Palace 2. Planet Hollywood 3. Paris 4. Harrahs 5. Flamingo 6. Ballys Not sure where Rio or Cromwell would fall into this list as I have never played there.
That seems odd to have $25 tables in the Flamingo HL room since I rarely see anything less than $25 tables on the main floor...
Are you looking at the party pit tablets. I never have problems finding 15 min tables (not great rules) on flamingo main floor or Margaritaville.
Stay away from Paris HL. In December it was 6 deck no DAS at $100 min. I walked before checking to see if it was S17 or H17.
You can find that $25, 6 deck, S17, late surrender, etc. game at aria and bellagio pretty much most of the time, especially during morning band afternoon, even weekends. On busy weekends or special events it is typically $50 or higher. But each of the last 3 trips this year on weekends, I saw those games being offered.
Thanks. The RSA rule is what really surprised me about the Bally's game....you rarely can find that at a CET property.
Aren't they using continuous shuffle over at Bellagio and Aria. That was what turned me off. That and all the one hand wonders that jump into the game at $25 limit on main floor.
As UK said, there is hand shuffled at the $25 level and it also includes RSA up to four. According to wizard of odds it is a .28% house edge game.
Imho opinion, the Paris high limit room would be the place for you but it has been awhile since I have played there. This was around 2005-2009 from what I remember and they had good rules but not sure about the limits or rules now. During that time the only 6/5 blackjack games were on their single deck pitch game close to the front entrance/valet.
