So, as I stated In my trip report, my host told me that for a standard room with no F&B comp, she would want to see 3,500 points per day $200-250 per hand for 4 hours a day For anyone who has experience at Bellagio or Aria, what are the comp expectations there?
Don't know any points. But those table numbers are very high. $100 avg gets you a regular room. She's raping you with those numbers.
3500 points is 10.5k coin in slots and 35k in vp... That's crazy high. I get three nights comped in a grand room, 100fp, 200rc, and comped show tickets...and I get maybe 2500 points PER TRIP.... You're getting screwed by your mgm host
I only wish, because she's a hottie. OK, let me drop my play and see how it goes. She Knows that I'm also comped very well downtown.
The 200-250 avg for 4 hrs/day is a boiler plate response that most Hosts will tell you if asked what is expected. In reality, at least with Aria, you can get a standard room to a Corner Suite with that play, depending on the dates. 200-250 is about my average, and the corner suite is the best I have gotten at Aria with my play. I have never heard a point value expected for comped rooms, so cannot comment there.
Every time I see a quote from an Aria host, it's way high. They highball you on purpose. After one email exchange with an Aria host, I never worked with one again, for a lower end player there's no need to. Occupancy in general is up, so there's no question the floor can be raised, but for most nights, $100 a hand at any table game for 4 hours or $5 - $6k in coin in should be enough for a standard room at Aria. $5k in coin in on slots is going to put you at around $500 theo and closer to $1k actual; that's enough. They put it in terms of "points" because they know/think you don't know how much a point is. A point is $3 coin in.
I'm assuming that you are talking about BJ. A few years ago it took a $150 average to get a free room at the Mirage, so I don't think that you are going to get a free room with only a $100 average. You might get a marketing offer afterwards, as they'll probably want to see if they can get you to bump your action up higher.
Hey op, I've stayed at bellagio once this year and aria twice. My play is about 200 a hand for about 4 hours a day. Aria comped me three free nights and 100 dollar credit. I don't know how they look at time played because all three time's I played about the same and they had my time played all different for each time. Had a hard time with the hosts this time, prior time I didn't really ask for any extra comps like food and beverage.
Thanks for all the replys. The $/point on a the premium machines can be as high as $8.33 and I stay away from them like the plague. At least they post it on the smaller LCD screen.
This is a rough estimate, but I got 3 nights comped in a standard room at Aria, plus $200 in food charges comped, with an estimated $30k video poker coin-in over 3 day trip (plus one hour or so of black chip BJ, but doubt that added much). So that's $10K per day average, or 1,000 points per day, not including tier multiplier. I also played some slots at various points, so this complicates it a bit, but 95% of my play was video poker. I also had a much higher loss than my theo, so that probably factored into the comp.
I only play tables so I'll give my facts there. Host requests $150 avg for 4-5 hours a day when you're there for a STANDARD Deluxe room. Any less they'll comp a night or two off after they use up your Express Comps. I play $300-500 avg for Baccarat now, but before when I was hovering around $200-300 on Blackjack on some trips and got typically Deluxe room comp and some F&B. I bumped my play up to $300-500 for BJ and got Aria Skysuite, but under a good referral from a friend. But, yes.. Aria does require 'more' play to get anything as it seems usually.
Does 3500 points equate to 35k tier credits? Because 35k tier credits is insanely easy to come by. I always average 75k-100k tier credits per trip without spend included and my comps are pretty meager. By the way, there is no tier credit multiplier. Only for express comps.and point play.
if you're doing 100k TCs per trip, you should be taken care of with a suite and some F&B depending on the length of your trip. that's about $1280 in comps.
Is that true even if I spread it out between casinos (MGM casinos obviously)? In other words, if I stayed at Aria, would my play count towards comps at Aria if I played at Bellagio and Mirage as well? I always get crap for offers but I think I ended up with about 250-260k tier credits last year for three trips of about 4 nights each. One trip was a very light gambling trip and I only earned about 25-50k in tier credits. The others were about 80-90k and about 110-120k. Some of the tier credits are for spend though. Maybe around 50k of that.
