    I want to cry.

Everytime I settle on a property, it changes. I guess I will just have to live the homeless lifestyle.

According to vegastripping.com, they are gutting out floor by floor and redesigning throughout 2015.

This may be exciting for others.

Have faith in SW and Roger Thomas, sco! They'll do it right.

(Though, I do have to admit - I will miss the houndstooth wall.)

I'm sure you'll be fine and still love Wynn/Encore after the remodel. Steve Wynn somehow always improves what he's done before. I've seen remodels I didn't really care for (some of the SLS rooms for example) but Wynn always surprises me with new developments. Everytime I think a place couldn't get any warmer or classier, Wynn pulls it of. So I wouldn't be too worried about it.

As someone that always felt the rooms at Wynn were muted and lacked energy, I'm very curious to see what they come up with. I'd love to stay there (and recently chose an Aria Skysuite over Wynn), but the rooms were always just underwhelming and one-noted. Given the color, design, and vibrancy of the rest of the property, I'd expect more of the room experience.

The thing about some high-end suites at Aria, Cosmo, MGM and the like is that they all lean towards masculine colors and moods with blacks, browns, blues. They look edgier, sleeker and sexy. Even Encore is more masculine than Wynn, and truth be told, though Encore has been a favorite of the Wynn and Encore complex, I prefer Wynn of the two. Wynn rooms have more feminine energy--it's softer, warmer, romantic. I suspect a Wynn "sky suites" type brand and a trend toward a more masculine vibe which tends to be very popular in Vegas now. I trust Wynn's taste but I am also not a fan of Wynn's original rooms either with the browns.

It does really come down to preference. While I thought the Wynn was very nice when I stayed there it wasn't my taste. I much prefer the Cosmopolitan room design, while some friends and family commented the Wynn room looked nicer.

Either way, it's a gorgeous property and I'm sure the rooms will look great.
