PT. Great TR glad you ended up in the positive. I felt really bad after our roulette lost and was hope you make a big comeback, and you did.

Oh that must have been a wild time at Palace tower. I had to go back to the room to get my gift bag and saw you really messed up not one but Both Beds. You SIR are one Party animal in both the room and on the Casino Floor.

Will be on crazy MLK weekend.

    PayTriple,
You broke that rule about 9 pages ago! Lol.
Also, how can any of us do a TR after reading yours? Really tough act to follow. Again, great job.

I was exhausted the first couple of days back which is why I started the simulated live report after I caught up on sleep.
I don't think I could do justice to a live TR because I'm always gambling so won't have time to write during the trip. (Well mostly always gambling.)

Yes, it is actually 1.6875% on single zero roulette, European rules.
    Here is the math:

    4 units total bet
3 units on the outside, 1-18 or 19-36. This is at 1.35%, since you get half back if zero comes up.
So 3/4 = 75% of your total bet, at 1.35%, so your 3 units are contributing 1.0125% towards the risk.

1 unit on the double street bet to cover 6 numbers, this is at 2.7%, since you get nothing back if the zero comes up.
So 1/4 = 25% of your total bet, at 2.7%, so your 1 unit contributes 0.675% towards the risk

    Total risk is 1.0125% + 0.675% = 1.6875% risk

We have to keep the reports PG-13, but certainly can "tell it like it is" within that context.
Sorry I'll miss the meet-up next week, but looking forward to playing with you at some point.
And I have no problems laying off the Don't while we play. The Pass is just as good a bet.

This is one of the best reads I've had since 50 shades of Grey. The moment in the room where you had her say "thank you PPhold" was very Christian Grey of you, whoever has read the book may agree!
Congrats on the win, you did some serious digging to get out of that one!

Thanks, I was sweating it for a while.

You don't have to be a fictional billionaire to have some fun.[emoji151][emoji160][emoji168]

Maybe I should write a book, "50 Shades of Green" (VMB wristband green!)

Ok just to clarify the 6 numbers are not part of the outside numbers you are betting...so for instance you are betting 1-18, your six numbers could be 19-24? That will give you 24 numbers you have action on out of 37 numbers. So if your outside number comes, you get 3 units minus 1 unit lost on your double street bet, so +2 units. If the inside six number comes you get 5-1 so 5 units - your 3 units outside so +2 units. Anything else but a 0 you get -4 units, and if 0 comes you get -2.5 units.

Interesting system! So to make up a bad roll like a -4 unit one, you will be betting 12 units hoping to make 6 units, still booking a +2 unit win. But if you go down twice in a roll you will have to make up -16 units, so you must be willing to post 36 units to get +2 units. Three in a roll will be really bad. How far are you willing to go, tripling up?

Yes you got it down correctly.
    The chances of 3 in a row happening is 1 in 27 (1/3 x 1/3 x 1/3)
I will usually only go up 3 times, at 900+2700.

I am willing to go up to 4 times which is 1 in 81 chance, BUT only with winnings.
    This is 100+300, 300+900, 900+2700, 2700+8100.

When I lost with pphold, I lost 3 in a row, TWICE, and almost back to back.

The way to make money on this system is to take advantage of the long winning streaks that will occur since you have a 2/3 chance of winning. By pressing your bets on these streaks you can pull in lots of units in a short number of rolls.

Odd and Ends from the trip.

    1) Patriots win
How do I feel about the Pats winning, and losing $500?
I feel GREAT, and would gladly do it again, and hopefully have a chance to do so in the Superbowl.
This was a huge win, and put the Pats in the driver's seat for the No. 1 seed in the AFC.
As I walked by the Book and Stage area on Sunday, there were a lot more Broncos fans than Patriots fans, and at least one was very upset and being confrontational to Pats fans.
Like it was their fault the Pats kept scoring on Denver.

    In Bill we trust!

    2) While playing roulette in the high limit area, a young 20's guy, about 5'4", Mediterranean looking but not overtly Arabic or Asian Indian (I have no bias, just trying to be accurate in my description) with a huge wad of cash, maybe $50,000, wandered over and starting throwing hundreds down and changing them into black chips.
He was playing fast and furious, covering numbers etc.
He was in his own world.
He showed his lack of class by shouting across the room to friends at the bar area.
    He had no accent.
He lost 3 spins in a row, and he then started berating the croupier, shouting at him things like "Fuck, you're giving me nothing!"
Like the croupier has anything to do with how the numbers come up.
There was a slinky young girl with him, who was only a 6-7 out of 10, in my book.
I smiled at her while he was putting his chips down, and she smiled back at me.
I was imagining how she would look in green....wristbands or cucumbers or both, she could take her pick.

When they left, the pit boss, croupier and I speculated on how he got his money.
But more philosophically, they wondered out loud "how can people with all that money be so UNHAPPY?"
Apparently, they see a lot of unhappy people playing single-zero roulette in Vegas.
Something to ponder, there is something very important in that observation about money and unhappiness.

    3) At craps, there was an older guy (looked like a medium sized Ron Perlmann) who was betting the Don't and acting drunk and shouting at top of his lungs "Come on SEVEN!!!" He kept up a lively banter, acting like he didn't know what he was doing, but he always managed to get down the correct maximum odds on the table to back his Don't bet. And after 3 or 4 wins, he colored up and left, a winner. Clearly a savvy gambler playing the "game".

    4) A drunk British guy shows up at the craps table next to me when I am rolling about 8am
He is about 30-40, inebriated, dark hair, has a light blue suit on with collared shirt but no tie. "I'll show you how to roll the dice!" he slurs to me. I look at him and imagine Gordon Ramsay. "Where's your money, are you going to bet? Because if you aren't going to bet, then you can't "roll the dice" and you can't tell ME how to roll the dice." And, I wanted to add but didn't, "You can't even make a decent steak, you arrogant bastard!"

    5) The biggest breasted cocktail waitresses are at the Hard Rock Hotel, hands down.

    6) I liked the Planet Hollywood and Paris casinos but Caesars has low ceilings and felt claustrophobic.

    7) If you love people watching, then Halloween is an awesome time to be in Las Vegas.
And I didn't even make to the Downtown area!

    8) Porn slappers were out in force between PHo and Paris on Friday and Sat night. Strip Club hawkers also.

    9) The Bellagio fountain show was off on Friday, Halloween night, and I'm not sure why.

    10) Cleavage everywhere.....so many girls....so few VMB wristbands.

After booking a couple of wins, whats your pressing progression? half unit? unit?

Oh and killer trip report. Kept me at the edge of my chair the entire team. Your normal TRs would be an epic TR for me haha.

If you go up 50%, then you will be putting all your winnings back on the table.
Example: 100+300, spin wins, you get $200.
Next spin: 150+450, spin wins, you get $300
Next spin: 200+600, and you have 100 chip not in play, spin wins you get $400
Next spin: 300+900, and you still have 100 chip not in play, spin wins, you get $600
Here, you can just keep the same bet or reduce back to 100+300 or 200+600.
Either way, you will have won money in this series.
And getting $400 or $600 per roll, until the streak ends is not too shabby....
