Gifting advice for preschoool

So my kiddos last day at his preschool is tomorrow. Not by my choice however.The school staff are the reason that he is leaving the school. They can't deal with him they say, however, when observing the other kids in his class, there are several others there that throw things, break things, have fits, scream, don't listen, etc. My kiddo doesn't do anything other than the occasional not listening and had a fit there once.
I tried to pull my kiddo out over the summer to a new preschool, the director at the current preschool BEGGED me to keep him saying, we love him here, he is great, etc. (I don't know why she would say that because we don't pay full price, we pay 50 out of the 200 per week because we have state paying the rest, and why have us there unless ya liked him as they have a HUGE waiting list. ) Two weeks ago my kiddo wiped poop on the stall wall, for what reason no one can really tell me, I always get at least 2 stories there and the next day someone took his blanket at nap time so he was tired, and his sticker was on there so he got upset and had a tantrum, because he was telling them that was my blanket and that had my sticker on it, but no one listened.

So the next day, as those 2 incidents happened on consecutive days, and both received a "write up" the director asked me for a meeting. My mom and I want and first thing the director says is I am giving you two weeks notice, your son is Autistic. I laughed and said no way. I work with Autistic, ADD, AHDH, ODD kids and no way is he autistic. If he was I would gladly get him tested, get him in interventions, but he has NO symptoms of Autism at ALL. She said he doesn't always look me in the eye when I talk to him. I said that is normal, especially for three year olds, they are not always going to look you in the eye.

So I made an appointment with the district and his pediatrician to have him tested over the summer. Both refused because he is a normal boy as they say. I was told by the specialists that boys are naturally very hyper and active especially when they are young.

Anyways , I am wondering do I get his teachers something or not?
I feel that of the 2 teachers he has now only one of them is actually positive towards him, and the other one always has negative things to say about him. and the rest of the staff there, never positive either. Just funny how now they have an issue with him after 14 months, and supposedly have hated him since day 1.

and I work with that population as well, you know better than to have your son tested by the very same Regional center or School district that would ultimately have to pay for his treatment and services after an IEP....go seen Diane Danis M.D. in Pasadena to be sure he doesn't have Aspergers or something, because I'm curious why he's getting 75% of his preschool paid for right now...

but again the only gift I would be "giving" would be a very rude gesture

 

I wouldn't. Not under those circumstances.

 

because as a single mom i cannot afford 200 a week, so the state picks up the other 75% of the tuition.
he sees his pediatrician tomorrow.. i dont think he is aspergers either, just perhaps ADHD

 

well that's kinda indicative that your (almost) former preschool sucks and you should welcome the change, I'd press the issue and demand an answer to what led up to the fecal smearing incident, because they sound like a bunch of clods, yet as a mom you need to know for his and your sake

I have 3 kids and both the 7 and 4 yr old are on the spectrum, so I demand a lot from the schools, pre-school or otherwise
and that eye contact thing was def BS, both my boys make great eye contact...it's about more than just that to be certain
rigid patterns, inflexibility (blanket), sensitivity to noises/sounds, preferring isolation to small groups...etc

 

he loves to play with kids his age, and in fact he likes to play with older kids. However I would get overwhelmed if i am one of 80 kids on the play yard and having that many to compete with me. he was mad that his sticker was on there than the blanket being taken away.. i will get it all checked and see what happens tomorrow.
