Not a Vegas newbie but not a hard core veteran either. Husband and I have been going twice a year for the last 4 years. Usually go on our birthdays -- Today is mine 9/13 -- but we decided to wait until December. Cooler - Rodeo Week, RMEF, and the Hunter Christmas Expo -- for the husband -- I plan to be sitting on a slot or VP machine tossing back some Margaritas. I am budget minded but also like a few splurges here and there -- So it is Luxor for 3 nights - for him, and Bellagio 2 nights for me. Love sharing tips and other info.

Welcome, V. Do you ever play downtown? The VP is soooo good there!

Where is a good place downtown for VP? We don't go there a lot, but I may take the bus and hang out there during the day. I have only played VP at the bar at Four Queens. It was in April and it was sooo hot and I was miserable so I didn't give it much of a chance.

Welcome to VMB and Happy Birthday!

Main Street Station has plenty of Full Pay Video Poker machines including Bar Top.

Four Queens, the D, MSS, and the Cal are all great. Lots of people rave about the El Cortez, but I've never had much luck there and find it kind of a downer (wah wah wah). Good luck!

Me too Beach Crazy. I think I am going to have plenty alone time during the day to hit the VP and slots. I doubt I will be able to pry the husband away from the Hunter Expo - the man can literally spend hours in the same section at Bass Pro and Cabela's -- multiply this by 10 times plus the size - I fear he may never come out of the convention center for 3 days. I'm excited because I have felt like in seven trips I never got to spend as much time as I wanted to in the casinos. I like to kick back and revel in lights, bings, and tequila and just vegetate. Glad to see your countdown - I don't know if I have enough posts to add one yet. I have been member on another forum for a while. It is nice to see some posters that I haven't seen in a long time. Much more laid back here.
