Presidential Limo pre-charge

I reserved a limo for tomorrow night and I vaguely remember the gentlemen telling me they would be charging my card 24 hours in advance. I can't remember just what he said, but I do remember it would be slightly more than the total. it showed up today, and it's 30% more. I guess they refund that after the fact? It has nothing to do with a gratuity does it? I plan to handle that with cash at the time of service.

I am so ready to get out of here but my mind is MUSH!!

 

I think it's just an authorization, not an actual charge. I always pay with cash and the charge/authorization disappears off my account a week or so after my trip. And 30% over the price has always been what they've told me.

That's interesting, they only charged my account $106 for round trip to/from the airport. No more, no less.
