Very weird..MGM's twitter took down the tweet that they posted after the win? I thought at first they might have been hacked.

 

Maybe they realized that people who don't know its been won might still come into their casino and spend $10.

 

Not sure. I for one am not convinced it has been won until I see a little more info. I would think there would be tweets left and right, and a lot of action on their facebook page. At the moment, nada.

But then, I am a pessemist....Or optomistic that I will win?

 

The wife is going to be bummed

 

On Twitter, Norm Clarke of the Las Vegas Review-Journal, is saying the winners are Walter & Linda Misco of New Hampshire. I hope they give it a good home.

 

Too bad for me... had my hundred set aside for next trip.
VMB members let me know about the tradition and then it is taken away two weeks before I get my shot at it.

I'm happy for them but my wife and I are sitting on a Tarmac waiting out a fog delay. If only it could have held for one more day! Oh well, plenty of other ways to make 2.4 mil in Vegas, right?

 

Congratulations to the winners We have made a special trip to the MGM to play Lions Share each trip for the thrill of the chase. It is kind of a bummer in a way, but it had to be won someday.

I'm not. I was gonna play it for sure next trip because I knew where it was and the lines were finally starting to die down. But probably saved me $30, meh. Definitely didn't think it would hit this year, even with the extra play. And of course, LOL to those who questioned it was rigged.

 

I'm kinda hoping this is all bullshit. There's no twitter feed of any jackpot, not one creditable las vegas news source has said anything. Nothing on facebook. I feel like I'm calling the bluff here. Even MGM supposedly had a tweet up about it and since been removed but no one can prove this.

I saw the tweet and texted it to my buddy. I played my first $200 in the machine earlier this week! I'm stunned.

They've since removed that tweet. I feel like until Vegas Chatter or Vegas Gaming News comes out and says it happened, it'll be hard to believe.
