Heading out from the cabana now (3:45p). It wasn’t too hot today (max 104). Standing in the pool, in the sun, with a hat was really pleasant. Spent a hell of a lot less than anticipated. And a lot less drunk than anticipated.

Going to shower now & look into a dinner reservation at MGM. I feel a tad burnt, especially my shoulders. Yuck.

I live in (well near) Crawfordsville now! Nice to meet another Hoosier or former Hoosier.

Thank you for the cabana info! We have one rented there next week. Was there a mister at your cabana?
    Loving your TR!

It was not on. I don’t know if that was because of water restrictions, not super hot temp, or something. We didn’t ask. We also didn’t lay out at the loungers, so it wasn’t an issue for us. Enjoy it!

I change my mind. Shower water pressure gets a 2/10, it sucks.

Made a 6p reservation for Crush at MGM Grand. Wanted Tap sports bar but with NBA game 6 tonight, there wasn’t anything until 7:30.

Hoofed it to MGM in 25 minutes! God it’s hot.

Lost a quick $50 in 2 minutes before our 6p rezie at Cherries jubilee. Stupid machine. Progressive was at $1007. Dinner was really good. I had the filet with fingerling potatoes, onions, & bleu cheese fondue. It was REALLY good. Cooked a perfect medium rare. Dan had the ricotta gnocchi with braised short ribs & pea purée. Split asparagus, had a mojito, & they gave us a comp dessert.

After dinner, the Cherries Jubilee closest to high limit hit at $1,014. I was not playing it. Stupid machine. After dinner we crossed the street to check out craps at NYNY. It was really crowded. Like almost packed. One open craps table was crapsless & $25. We didn’t stay.

Walked next door to ParkMGM & they had one $15 table open. One shooter just kept hitting 2, 11, & 12 and the field was paying like crazy. Guy next to me was betting between $25 & $100 on the field and it just kept paying double & triple. He colored up soon after the shooter 7ed out. He had less than $200 when we walked up & he left with over $900. Dan was also playing it at the time (but only $15-$25) and made a couple hundred off it too! I had a great run. Hit every number but 2 & 12. So neither bonus hit. Made several points, threw lots of hardways, but eventually 7ed out. It was a really good run. I’m pretty good at making other people money.

Dan shot next & he had a pretty good roll too. He rolled a bunch of 11s. I had a $15 come bet on 5 & put max odds out there & he hit it. Made me a good chunk of change! When the table went cold, we colored up but stopped by one of my favorite machines there, $100 or Nothing. Pretty simple concept - it’s $1 spin, 3 7s wins $100, thats the only win. Hit nothing this time.

Next, meandered back to PH. It was also packed. And nowhere near enough tables open. Half the pit was still closed! Most tables were $25, a couple $15 blackjack. Threw a $50 in the “win what comes up” slot, maintained for about 20 minutes, but wasn’t really entertained so I cashed out down $1.

Walked back to Paris and it’s also really crowded. Both real craps tables are $25 and I am exhausted. So Dan stayed downstairs to keep playing & I’m headed to bed. Only plan tomorrow is STK for happy hour at 4. Probably going to sleep in, get a lazy breakfast & go from there!

Oh. Walked only 14,000 steps (about 6.5 miles) yesterday. Didn’t have my watch on most of the day today (cause pool) but it says 12,000 steps (5.5 miles).

This is a really well done TR, I feel like I’m there! @Catboiler did you make it back to the LINQ to check on that wonky craps/BJ thing?

Happy Birthday in Vegas. Fabulous way to celebrate.

Loving your report and photos!! Such a fun read. I hope Overlook Grill gets restocked on Veuve Clicquot before we arrive. We have reservations there for the first time and I was looking forward to Veuve mimosas.

Sitting at GR Pub at CP, ordered a light lunch. We have STK HH at 4p, so don’t want to be too full. I got the fried chicken sandwich & a Big Dog Lager. Dan got the pub burger & “any local pale ale or lager”. Probably going to wind up with to go boxes.

We really should have split something. It was way too much food. 9CD65BEF-AFFB-436E-ACF3-E0DD149A26BB.jpeg F25C723F-571C-406B-B101-ECE6F60315FE.jpeg

Perhaps already discussed, but you wouldn't have gone to Muncie Central and the Purdue, would you? Cat then Boiler?

Made it back to Linq to check out the “craps on a blackjack table” thing. It was super fun! It’s craps without the come out roll, only side bets. I’ll post more about the rules later. $10 total minimum, $5 on each bet. I’ll post more about it later tonight, though it’s pretty self explanatory.
