A cheap cooler bag that sits on the bottom of my suitcase. Think they’re a couple of dollars at Walmart. Couple each of heavy duty knifes, forks & spoons. Starbucks Via, immersion heater & stainless steel mugs.

Nothing unusual but must-haves; zip-lock bags and our portable GPS. I don't leave home without either. I don't like to use my phone for navigation (we do a lot of traveling around). I also take a small "first-aid kit" with band-aids, Bacitracin, small scissors, Icy-hot, etc. If I remember, I like to bring a small pair of binoculars when I know we'll be going somewhere to see wildlife.

Tide detergent pods. TSA probably likes them better than when I used to put powder Tide in a resealable bag!

I too pack a couple of gallon ziplock bags. I always pick up a decent bottle of scotch that I don't finish. Probably sounds funny, but I only have some during afternoon news before dinner. I pour the remains into a plastic flask I bring, which is then put into one of the ziplocks for the flight home.

Haha -- I always get Starbucks' protein box for a snack while at the hotel, and they come with a seasoning packet for the eggs. The past two times, I haven't been able to open it with my teeth or sawing at it with a plastic knife. Having scissors would've worked wonderfully, but I did go with the nail clippers. :)

Every trip I take I pack a small roll of duct tape and a few zip ties. People think im nuts, but the number of problems I have solved while on vacation are in the 20's

A Glitter Gulch punch card. If they ever reopen, I've got a free lap dance coming my way.

    • Economy pack of Liquid IV, I mix it in water throughout the days and swear by it for hydration.
    • Hangover “prevention/help” supplements.
    • Earplugs for unexpected noisy neighbors.
    • Several superstition related items.
    • Koozies — but TBH you can find one in my purse anytime.
    • Maybe an outfit or two I’m ready to part with after one more wear so I can make room in my bag for new purchases.
    • Rose water spray for my face after/during flight, can’t stand dry skin.
    • Plenty of other crap and I’m realizing it’s not all that unusual.
    • If I was packing something really unusual I’m not posting about it or copping to it. ;)

Medicated TP. With all that rich food to eat, it is nothing short of a lifesaver.
