“We’re not going to give you 2000 nickels. Unless that meets your particular change needs.”

    Loved those commercials!

Lorne Michaels made a statement on Saturday Night Live offering the Beatles $3,000 to reunite on his program.
It was increased to $3,200.00 a 50 dollar increase per Beatle.

And George tried to collect. :D

Paul was visiting John in New York that weekend, and they saw the show. He said they almost grabbed a cab and went down there.

A "fictional" film was made about this...it's actually pretty good - "Two of Us"

Go to 1 hour and 20 minutes if you only want to see the SNL part with their reaction to it.

Swayze and Chris Farley in their Chippendale sketch. That one made Farley a star.

I'm going to go with the Blues Brothers skits. I've only seem re-runs, they were before the time I really watched SNL. I've honestly seen the movie probably 100 times, in fact I watched the last hour tonight.

From my time, I would say Church Lady and Wayne's World are my favorites. The Justin Timberlake episode is one of the best episodes in recent years.

    :nworthy:

Me and my brother in law would take turns watching SNL at either our apartment or his in the mid 70's to early 80's
and consume mass quantities of whatever the beer du jour was....:drunk:

on a side note, the wife and I were on a tour of RCMH on a Friday and saw the Stones performing a sound check for Saturdays show.

Matt Shatt interview is recent, and makes me belly laugh every damn time. She took a Kennedy and put a Shatt on it!

A lot of my favorites have already been mentioned here, but just about everything, so I don't want to be too repetitive, but almost everything from the recent John Mulaney episode was fantastic, especially "Cha Cha Slide" and "Airport Sushi".

Also, Eddie Murphy doing Gumby and "Mr. Robinson's Neighborhood", both new and old.

Finally, I can't seem to find a working copy on YouTube, but "Sabra Price is Right".
