THIS one exactly!
I'll never watch the PBS 25th anniversary special the same way again!
Cheezborger, cheezborger, no Coke, Pepsi!
This was perfect.
The first time I went to Las Vegas, I was reminded of this skit, Regardless of where I ate, I simply could not get a Coke with my meal. Everyone would say: "We don't have Coke, is Pepsi OK?"
I watched from high school days when it was a solid 90 minutes. This is a trick question right?
Anybody got the nerve to mention the Richard Pryor word-association skit? (**DEAD** Honkey!)
I love the old vintage commercials. Colon Blow and can't forget - It's a floorwax. It's a dessert topping.
And there was a Dan Ackroyd skit where he was defending some terrible toys, and recall "bag of glass" was one of them.
Two weeks later, Chevy Chase made the cover of New York magazine, which dubbed him “the funniest man in America” and quoted an unnamed network executive championing him as “the first real potential successor to Johnny Carson,” and predicting he’d be guest-hosting Tonight within six months.
Carson, understandably, offered a less-than-glowing assessment of Chevy’s skills. “He couldn’t ad-lib a fart after a baked-bean dinner.”
Big Red. He's big, and he's red. You pour in the goop ...
By Bleeko, makers of Termite Town!
And then there's Richard ... Makin' copies!
Mr. Bill. And his pet dog.
From a recent TR of similar name, and it has been mentioned in this thread, but here is the link:
C-I-L-L, my landlord!
Kate Mckinnon is a hoot in this one.
Alien abduction survivors
Had to throw in a musical performance as well.
Bass-o-matic is good one.
Also the commercial about the finance company who just makes change. No exact quote but off the top my head
“A customer can come in with a dollar bill and leave with 10 dimes, 20 nickels. We’re here for you”
Mister Robinson's Neighborhood.
SNL was mandatory viewing in the late 70's (high school). Watch it Saturday night, it's the topic of conversation at church on Sunday or school next week. Hard to believe it's lasted this long.
Just blown away watching this night it aired live..
my all time favorite, plus the sequels to D**k in a box are great.
Separate names with a comma.
