Late betting is notorious at Potawatomi and the crews/pit bosses rarely say anything unless players start to speak up.

    11. Smokers who come to the table after you and start blowing smoke at everyone.

    12. D bags who try to squeeze in to a full table.

    and the worst:

    13. Cold tables. Especially after you put down all your bets and the shooter craps out.

Now #13 is my biggest frustration while playing craps. The rest are bad but I can live with them (except 11 and 12) if the table is warm/hot.

So it’s a full table (5-7 players on each end)
The table is pumping with numbers being thrown.
A D bag walks up,dice out, squeezes in sideways and throws $20 in the field.
If it hits they pick it up and walk away.
More often ,7 out line away!!
    Clueless!

Table bouncy or hard as a rock is a hard one to compansate for and if your use to your local casino the adjustments can be frustrating

I love when other player bet the don’t pass while I’m shooting gives me great pleasure to bust some one up.

    1) Obnoxious/Rude Players

    3) Surly/Rude Dealers,boxman, stickman etc.

My biggest frustration in general, I mean with all games, is #3 Rude dealers. Vegas is my paradise, where I come to have fun and unwind, and bring all my money to, which I saved up for two years. A good dealer imo gets that and treats all players with the same respect, no matter their bankroll. The best dealer also makes sure you have the best time, even when you lose all your money. That's the magic of Vegas! Fortunately the good ones outnumber the bad ones.

And my 2nd frustration is #1 D bag players. Kind of for the same reason as above, people come to Vegas to have fun, not to be barked at by some ego-tripping, drunk bully. Doesn't matter to who it is, they ruin the vibe. Btw, if there's a #1 at the table, please bring on a surly #3 to tell him off!

#5: I get that craps is a low theoretical loss game, but there's gotta be a better way formulate comps without fussing with them every time. No way the same bets and time played yield completely different results every time. That said, overall it's worked out, but it is a serious annoyance at times.

#6: I don't care if you take forever to roll the dice, but when you make 6 bets every roll or slowly? Yeah, ok, just stop it.

Overall, my biggest gripe is bad tables that have a combination of the above. I've stayed at losing tables because they were fun, and walked away from winning ones because the players and/or dealers were complete pricks.

People who gripe at or glare at don’t betters. They aren’t betting against you or making you lose. I am happy to play whichever side is paying out.

Few trips ago at MSS a younger guy was giving an earful to an older guy who was betting the don’t.
He was using some pretty bad language and calling him a F*@#er and lots else.
I couldn’t believe the boxman was allowing it. I was getting tired of it and felt bad for the old guy and really wanted to tell him to shut up but didn’t want to start a possible altercation and get kicked out myself.
Pit boss finally asked him to leave.

That is sad and unfortunate that the dealers didn't say something.

On my last trip I played at the Flamingo and when I walked up I started playing the dont's and this woman at the other end of the table would not shut up about it. She was trying to be funny but kept saying things like "Why do you want me to lose?" and "I can show you the right way to play", etc. I guess she had been at the table talking to everyone for some time and the dealer next to me told her to leave me alone. I just laughed it off. I wasn't even playing Don't Pass, just DC bets.

When the dice came to me I switched to the pass line and proceeded to roll for 25 minutes or so, and hit the All-Small-Tall bonuses. My lady friend at the other end of the table then wouldn't shut up about how I was learning, and "see, now you want all of us to win, not just yourself".

After that run, the table went cold again so after a couple of shooters I switched back to the don'ts, right as the dice got around to this woman. She pretended to be pissed when I switched back to the dark side as she was about to shoot. All in all it was good for a few laughs and a little exasperation.

My favorite thing to do is to squeeze in to a busy table, chompin' on my big ole cigar, throw down my money in the middle of a point, and then place my chips on the don't come, and hope the dice either go off the table or hit some dude's hands on the other end of the table.

Man, now that's what I call some righteous action.

    Mansplaining..don’t need your help

    Dumb bets

    Lousy shooters

New Dealers that don’t payout correctly and that awkwardness when they almost forget your payout

Betters that act like your roll makes a difference as to whether they have a place to stay that night

Rude players and dealers in tandem make a great game very awkward and unenjoyable........

Some dealers don't get it that most of the time if nice and friendly and a hot or somewhat hot table usually means an increase in tips!

Rude players, rude dealers. The game is so much more enjoyable win or lose when people at the table are being friendly and sociable.

The absolute worst are people who act grumpy about other shooters and then act like they got shot when a seven rolls as if they've never seen anything like it in their life. You'd think after playing craps a few times you'd get over the fact that the seven is coming one way or another.

If I ever ran a casino I'd have grumpy players escorted out. I've never understood casino's high tolerance for surly players. I get that they want their money but you'd think they also want the money of the people who don't want to play at tables with sore losers.

I can deal with everything else on that list.

The sooner you realize it doesn't matter, the more fun you'll have gambling. They are the dealer's problem. It's not like they make the seven come up more or less often.

On the plus side, they create bonus mini games called "aim for the hand" and "knock over the chip stack". You are going to lose money at the casino, you might as well have fun with it. :D

Glad and sort of expected #2 to remain at 0 votes.
The craps table enjoys the new blood.
Hopefully those are fence about playing Craps see the survey and realize they shouldn't be intimated.
Just don't try it at the Black Jack table. :wink2:

+1000. I've never understood this either. It makes no sense to offend 10 good customers to keep from offending one jerk.

Because people have played Blackjack at some point in their lives, with their uncle, aunt, or cousin. You get the jist as a kid. Craps? Folks play for years and don't "get it". So heading to a table as a newbie is never a problem.
