Next time you're in Vegas try and get them reinstates This probably doesn't apply to most people but in Atlantic City they're currently matching existing customers who have previously tier matched as well. One thing is for sure-their computer system seems really wonky.
The next few months in AC will be interesting. Ocean and HR seem to being going after CET players moreso than in the past. AC has also always been kinder about matching pre pandemic, so we'll have to see if things change now. I don't think it will and the merry go round will keep doing round and round.
I saw that this was a source of questions here. I was Icon and now dropped to Legend today. I met the Icon "personalized" goal by 12/31/24 but apparently was not.
Mystery solved. I logged onto my Unity accout on 3/1/24 and I have lost Icon status. I guess the end of February was accurate, just like it said on my card.
Same. I'll tier match again when I'm in Atlantic City since they saw existing customers can do it too.
I was expecting my Icon status to drop off, but now my offers are blank too- Anyone else not have a single offer listed when there used to be several?
I still have the same offers, although now if I try and book a comp room it would charge the resort fee.
If you go to Hard Rock Atlantic City, they are doing tier match for the new benefit year 2024 which expires Feb 28, 2025 starting today. This applies to both new and existing members, whether you have matched to Rock Royalty or icon in the last 12 month or not. I use my Diamond Elite at CET to match again today. I were staying at Hard Rock AC for the last two days but their system didn't get ready for matching for the new benefit year until 2pm today. What a hassle. The line is long at the unity center after 2pm and everyone is matching. Should have been ready for rematching earlier. When I went to Mirage in January, the icon card they printed already showed expiry on Feb 2025 even though I didn't play enough to reach 15000 tier points (only get 700). But at Hard Rock AC the card printed was always until Feb 29, 2024 until I rematched today. So whether all icon are extended automatically is still a question. You may still need to rematch if you didn't play enough. And don't know if Mirage or other properties would automatically rematch to people who have matched last year. So once in a lifetime tier match is a lie in AC. It is important to get icon to not only waive resort fees on rooms but also use your 1000 unity points each to enter into icon longue for foods and drinks or Frssh Harvest buffet at AC. No more 100 bucks celebration dinner at Mirage and only at Mirage for matching icon until you have played to reach 15000 tier points this year. They cut it back.
so I open up the app today and lo and behold I dropped to legend this is after they told me twice (and in person) that I will be remaining icon for this year. I think I even got rid of the screenshot from the account that confirmed what I'm saying. I will be going down there in person and I will let you know how it all turns out out
Same. I was given a "personalized goal" to reach icon by 12/31/24 and I hit that was tier multipliers at the end of the year. I emailed and they just said, "you did not achieve enough tier credits for icon." I suspect there might be others, because the line at the Unity desk at my local was probably half an hour long.
Has anyone tried re-matching in Vegas? I can likely match in AC, but wondering if the Vegas match is still there and possibly with the free 1 time pass to the Plum Lounge at Mirage?
I will be matching my Barona diamond to MGM Plat and have them in hand when I go in to try and reclaim my Icon. I also found a photo in my iPhone "deleted photos" of the website showing me as Icon and saying, "15,000 more Tier Credits by 12/31/2024 to maintain Icon status..." So I'm locked and loaded for bear when I go in but as we all know they can just not honor it and say it was an IT glitch. The thing that gets me is that I visited 2x and asked about this in person and they even took time to look me up and they said I would be remaining Icon. This was told to me at the rewards desk. I will post back with how it all goes. I'm probably not going down there this weekend; it will be the following weekend.
Here's hoping they still match at Mirage too! If HR keeps screwing with the competition then maybe they'll get back to being nice to us degenerates.
I had to get some work done on my vehicle today, right near Mirage. It was early, about 9 or 10, so I said what the heck and I drove into Mirage off of Mel Torme to see if I could reclaim my Icon. All I had with me at the time was a screenshot of my account that said, "15,000 more Tier Credits by 12/31/2024 to maintain Icon status..." before I got downgraded to Legend. I showed the girl at the rewards desk. She checked a few things in the computer and said, "It looks like you can have Icon again - but let me check with my supervisor..." So she went to her boss and came back and said that I could be Icon again. I asked why it didn't just show that in the website. She said she didn't know, and "it's all marketing." I know that I didn't spend anywhere near enough to make Icon. The only thing that I can think of is that one day I remember going in there and playing nickels on the Cashnado slot machine. Maybe that is what they saw. So I can't really answer if they will match again. But it is likely that if your website showed "15,000 more Tier Credits by 12/31/2024 to maintain Icon status..." at one time, then you will be upgraded back to Icon. YMMV. Got 2 cards, dated EXP 02/25.
Following this regarding the rematch at Mirage. I was there in December and decided to pick up a card and they matched me to Icon. Was there for a late show and did not play then and did not make it back there that trip so did not even use the freeplay they gave me. Would like to rematch when I am there next week if possible. Has anyone been able to do that? Wishing now I had not bothered to do the match in December.
