You ought to visit Cafe du Monde for some Beignets and a Cafe au Lait...the French Market location near the Mississippi River is touristy, but worth the experience.

 

I'm not sure what this 11 PM or 1 AM last call absurdity is that you're talking about, but reading through all of this makes it seem that everything is in order and all of the planets are aligned.

You have some of the best trip reports! Mambo’s, a few blocks from your hotel, had some pretty good food if you're looking. Best Gator bites I've ever had!

Ok. Got Covid test at a place e a LONG way from Harrahs. I’m in Audobhan Park?!? All I know is it’s as green as @vegasmacker’s crotch around here. Very cool. I decided I wasn’t cabbing back and I’m gonna take the Charleston Trolley. Is that what it’s called? Either way I’m looking for it and on a very tens ing snd cool walkabout.

 

This place used to be a kids psych hospital. It just had to be haunted. No ghosts observed while I was being retested.

 

Feels like I better get moving. I think the tree in the water might have eyes and teeth....

 

So this is gold. I’m chatting with these nurses at the hospital. Now this hospital is not really like a standard hospital, atleast where I was. No stores, kiosks, etc. So I start asking about the trolley and they kindly give me directions. I ask how much it is and they say $1.25-1.50. I ask if they have change. I don’t mention all I have is a pimp roll of $20s and 100’s. Last reaches into her purse and just gives me the money. Talk about hospitality.
I’m looking forward to this trolley ride. That may sound silly to some of you but if you had taken it before, you’d know. Horses and architecture along this drive are wicked cool.

 

Gotta respect anything that can stand on one leg and scratch their nose with the other foot.
