Gaggles vs The Big Easy LIVE April 14-17

First things first. I wanna make it VERY clear that "The Big Easy" is New Orleans and not @vegasmacker's college girlfriend.

I wasn't sure if I was going to do a TR for a few days in New Orleans. But then again I am never sure about a lot of things. But I am sitting here in Calgary, waiting to board a flight to Dallas which will then take me to NOLA and I thought...why not? I never see enough New Orleans reports in here and it is a very cool city. My plane boards soon and so perhaps for now we keep things brief.

About 9-10 days ago JR was asking about a trip to Puerto Rico. I said it might be tough due to work. Well it became not tough. I was able to get a couple weeks off on short notice, and before you know it a lot of flights, hotels, car rentals, and Covid tests were booked. My Covid test came back negative late last night and after a shuttle ride to the airport, I am close to boarding.

I have secured TWO Covid tests for tomorrow just in case I sleep in after a little Harrah's time tonight. I like my chances of making the $50 Covid test at 11:30 vs the $184 Covid test at 10:00 am.

It is gonna be a quick three nights and a lot of fun. ZERO plans at the moment other than booze and perhaps just a fraction of gambling.....

I am getting into NOLA early tonight. I am aware that last call in NOLA is currently 11:00 pm. Not sure what kind of sorcery that is. But...to ensure I am properly primed, I packed a little Fireball in my suitcase thtaa I can get started on when I land.

What could go wrong????

After 30 min delay on tarmac waiting for luggage. Busier at this airport than my last two trips to Vegas.

 

Wow...three flights to the US, are there other international flights? What does the current domestic flight schedule look like?

Always enjoy your tr's, so I'm sure this one will be a lot of fun despite the early closing time.

Check with Caesar's Rewards to see if they still offer various restaurants in the city where RCs can be used for meals. It was a great way to experience the locals on CET's dime. I would like to personally know if they are doing this currently. It's sort of hard to drill down on the website to find this out. Thanks!

 

Once again, the wins keep piling up. Met a lady in can line going to Harrahs so we split the $36 fare. Because we both threw in $25 I co didn’t that a $20 win cuz I would have given the guy $45.

 

Oh!!! Another win...last call now 1:00 am not 11:00 pm. So i won’t be needing to crack this right?!

 

Im sorry, but I don’t speak Portuguese. But with any luck...I’ll be able to understand this by the end of the night.

That shot of Fireball was found in my fridge and is literally from a bucket of shots bought for my party bus for my wedding by Macker.

i assume, like me, Fireball only gets better with age??? Or does it turn into turpentine?? Either way....life’s about change.
