What about Belgium? I think they are being overlooked. I know they haven't impressed yet but maybe against better teams that actually try to score, they can be effective on their counter attack. I wish Willmots will have a plan to allow Hazard more freedom to create chances. Lukaku needs to be benched and brought on in the second half, maybe he will actually work to get open.

I'm a big Liverpool fan, go there about 5 times a season, and we as Liverpool fans always supported Luis, but this is getting ridiculous..
Just glad he didn't do it as a Liverpool player, so it won't affect us..

Dang, would have really liked to see Brazil go out to Chile. They just scraped by.

Mexico got robbed on that penalty! One of my biggest complaints is that the flopping is out of control. The replays proved that the Netherlands player was on the dive before he was even touched.

MEX went from playing lights out with 15min to go to losing thanks to a bad rebound and failure to clear and then a shoddy penalty.

I may fire up my online betting account to bet the Colombians. I have a feeling that the line is going to be inflated towards Brazil so there may be some extra cash to make on Colombia.

I'm rooting for Costa Rica this afternoon

What do you think about te situation at the end of the first half.. That could be a penalty as well,if the referee was in the right position..Agree with you that it was not a penalty..Good thing Robben plays in Germany

Agreed and I thought they'd call it.

The Costa Rica win was exciting. To be a man down and still hold on like they did was impressive. Especially after allowing the equalizer so late...that can be demoralizing to a team. I am excited to see them advance. I love rooting for underdogs!

They were 1000/1 to win the cup and they're now down to 30/1

that mexico's coach changed the working strategy after the 1:0 was bad...that hurt mexico vs a netherlands team that had obviously problems with the weather conditions.
to bring in huntelaar was a genius move. wow.
    oranje deserved the win.
these noon games are ridiculous. next game for them will be later.

belgium to win vs usa: -110 (90minutes).
    that looks very interesting.
belgium advances (doesnt matter how): -250 ... not so interesting :)
netherlands to win vs costa rica: -210 (90minutes).
columbia to win vs brazil: +330 (that's less then I expected)

People have wised up to Colombia now, the odds won't be very good on them for the rest of the tournament. I think Holland are still my pick to go far.

My current final four is Colombia, France, Argentina and Holland. Colombia V Holland final.

this is a very "hyped" final four at the moment.

maybe my picks are too risky...but hey, so far every game in the knock out stage is close. that USA vs Belgium game could be a bad wake up call for some US fans.
Brazil (seems like the underdog now), Germany, Belgium, Netherlands. Germany v Belgium final.

There could not be a worse result for the Dutch than to lose to Belgium.

Neymar is done with a fractured vertebra in his back...and they will be down their captain because of his second yellow card
