Well when they asked for ID it was for my card so I just showed them my ID. If it was someone else card, just pretend you left your wallet in the car and say I gotta get my id from the car. Get your card back and leave.

I would at least make sure I would know the name of the person identified on the card.

Not sure what I would do if they would say, no problem, we can look it up on the computer and you can answer a couple of questions to verify (such as current address or date of birth).

Only way out would be to say you must have picked up someone elses card but if you haven't played yet that would be more difficult to believe. Just in case make sure you have some play on your card first.

    A thought...

You could hand them your card...when they ask for ID, give them yours...when they say this isn't yours, say--what? Crap, someone else's card must have been in the machine when I sat down...dang...Oh, here's MY card:eek:

Does anyone know if Council Bluffs or Harrahs AK-Chin have the kiosks to check-in on?

    Thanks

I'll be stopping by Horse Shoe Council Bluffs over Labor day weekend, but before I trade cards with anyone, I need to find out if they have the Kiosks or if you have to go to the desk.

You have to go to the TR desk, I was not asked for ID for any of the 4 card swipes I did over 2 trips.

FWIW I was asked for ID at the Horseshoe CB - but that was in the first week or two of the promotion. Last year they had kiosks at the Harrahs CB down the street - but they did not have them set up for the Great Race when I was there 3-4 weeks ago. Maybe they do now if you want to check.

When I was at rio a few weeks ago, there was not a stand alone kiosk. It was just a monitor with a place to swipe on it. The monitor was on the TR desk on the far left side.

Are the monitors there after hours? I got new cards at flamingo and noticed the monitor with the card swip but it was not on. however last night early morning it was not there at all.

FYI: Saw on another deals blog that CET is monitoring blogs/websites/message boards for card trading and anyone will be disqualified if caught.
