Hey Pocky, always enjoyed you're reports so glad I can repay your efforts, not feeling as positive today, always looked at gambling as entertainment so haven't worried about the losses but this year the budget has increased and it's been blown already so now trying to work out weather to carry on or reign it in???

So ate at Scarpetta last night, reserved a table through Opentable and asked for a seat in the window over looking the fountains, was a great spot to eat dinner

Jo had Creamy polenta with truffled mushrooms - tasted amazing but so so so rich

I had diner scallops and they were lovely and juicy cooked just right

Then I had the duck and foie gras ravioli which was really really good and Jo had the signature spaghetti with tomato and basil, really simple but flavoursome dish

The service was good but had a more professional edge too it, could have been a tad Warmer, a plus point was when they had kept us waiting a little while for our mains, they also sent out another dish as an apology

Overal with 2 glasses of wine for me bill came too $160 dollars which I thought was good value

I'll try to be the voice of reasoning here......don't gamble unless you feel good and I'm sure most on VMB will agree that scared money never win. You have until 11/6, so why not take a day of watch sports to just sit at a bar playing single line .25 VP? How about a show?

Personally I would regroup first and then go back to gambling when I feel the time is right. But of course it's easier to say than done.

Whatever you decide to do we will be rooting for ya, enjoy your vacation and good luck!

Yeah as hard is it can be, take a nap. Visit the pool. Go to pinball HOF or a museum... gambling will be there for you later!

Off to Monte Carlo to learn how to play craps, they have free lessons at 11, spent the morning slotting around Cosmo and bellagio, had a few small wins but down a Hundy

We've had a craps lesson at Monte Carlo which wasted some time then had a quick play, was different and enjoyable

The handpay music for those types of pays are the worst. First time it happened to me, I think it was $0.50... I would rather listen to the typical error code... and its loud, annoying beeps. Hope you can find a handpay worth celebrating!
