    My Trip Report

Sorry for starting this a day late but after a very long day yesterday I just didn't have the energy! Them 10 hour flights are a killer

So me and the wife (J) are staying at the Cosmo for 5 nights, this is our 3rd trip and 2nd time staying at Cosmo, last time we stayed I get upgraded from a one bed terrace to a wrap around without any asking and needless to say it was awesome. This time I again booked the one bed terrace with a strip view and again we are really happy with the room and absolutely love everything about the Cosmo. Due to jet lag I'm currently sat on my balcony writing this enjoy the sights and sounds of the strip at 4AM and it's safe to say I am truly in love with this crazy place

Bankroll is around $500 dollars a day each but it's flexible and if we are having fun and run out of money then the party needs to carry on, mainly playing BJ, slots and we are newly obsessed with VP (I blame Beejay, tring and T-bone for this)

Dining is a big part of our plans so we have reservations as the following
Monday - scarpetta - I'm really looking forward to this menu looks awesome
Tuesday - eating at smith & wollensky on the strip (wife's choice, I wanted to go back to SW)
Wednesday - lunch at olives and then maybe dinner at Le Thai down town
Thursday- Tao, wife is crazy about dimsum

There's a few places we would like to try for lunch but this is very very flexible and will depend on where we are gambling at the time

Nothing really else planned, the wife is 8 weeks pregnant so much depends on how see is feeling as the tiredness is killing her at the min so may spend more time around centre strip than we have previously but she's a trooper and is happy for me to get my drink on so I'm easy

I will try and post as many pictures as I can, let me know if you have any requests, I've recently introduced my wife to "spot the hooker" and hopefully you can play along too!

So I will quickly recap Sunday and then the semi live bit can begin

So after the 10 hour flight we get into macaron at 12pm which is 8pm our time, I had booked the VIP shuttle through bell trans as we have used it previously and found it really convenient and hassle free, apart from that they kept us waiting 30 mins for a Sedan it went fine

Checked in straight away at 1:30 and straight up to room, love the view and looking forward to using the Japanese soaking tub

After a shower and a quick refresh we head down to Cosmo casino and slotted around, Jo pretty much played for free for an hour and I was about $200 down, we then decided to head to Bond bar to play some VP

Ok so we are very new to VP and most of my knowledge comes for BeeJays drunken winning photo's but also trings expert knowledge and t-bones epic epic tr have helped, played at bond for about an hour and was well looked after by the guys behind the bar and managed to hit 2 non premium quads on $1 DDBP and left with a nice tidy $300 ish profit which nicely paid for my slot loses

From Cosmo we headed down the strip, we discovered shake shack in NEw York last year so we were very happy to be able to try it again in Vegas, so we headed to NYNY to play In the casino first, nothing much to report, played some crappy $10 BJ ( 8 deck shoe and 6/5 payouts I don't see why they bother) felt a bit dirty after that and then went to shake shack, the burgers there are amazing, I'll post a picture shortly ( typing this on my iPad but pics on my phone)

After shake shack we headed through Monte Carlo and into aria, I love playing top dollar so sat down at a machine put my handy in and pressed Max bet on the $.25 machine not realising it would do me for $90 a spin!! Needless to say I didn't win and Feeling a bit stupid and peed off we headed back through crystal and back into Cosmo, where we both went on to lose $300 dollars each at $25 BJ, by now it was 9:30 Pm but 5:30 am our time so we called it a night after being up for 24hours (told you the missus is a trooper)

So hopefully from now on the report will be slightly more live, will try and post some VP photo's and you can all tell me what I'm doing wrong

Great start ineedbeer! Definitely along for the ride, and I hope you hit it big. Thanks for taking the time to report and god bless you with a 10 hour flight, 5-6 almost does me in for good.

Cheers man, your report inspired me so you're the one to blame for this! I used to complain about 4 hour flights but not anymore, but if that's what it takes to get to paradise then so be it
