Thank you and yes you likely saw people from my group. That was the night I left early.

When I was first switched to the spa suite after a night in gold club suite, I noticed the spa suite floors have no water or snacks like the private gold tower floors. Then when I entered the room, there was housecleaning stuff everywhere. I hadn't washed up after hitting the gym so obviously I needed to use the shower but there was a corded polisher for the marble in there with half of the stuff looking like crap. On top of that there were stains everywhere. no seriously they were everywhere... Giant dirty glass stains on pretty much every surface. When I called down to VIP desk, they blew me off and pretty much said tough shit. Cool so I'm paying for a $600 suite thats a piece of shit. On top of that I asked for a pool view when we reserved but we didn't get it.

Then when I tried to order pizza to the suite for the bachelorette party, they said they couldn't deliver it but I could go downstairs and pick it up myself. Great customer service. They couldn't even get me a cheese/meat platter. On top of that when we had some family members in the suite and wanted to eat the cake, we had to call down 5 separate times to order some plates and silverware which they charged us $5 for every plate. We literally had people sitting around for 3 hours waiting on a half dozen plates and forks. I could've walked over to CVS and got them myself.

Needless to say I made the best of the hand I was dealt and tried to suck it up but we won't ever be staying in their spa suite again. I can expect that sort of service from a place like El Cortez or Plaza but I doubt even they would treat their clientele like that. Every time I went to VIP lounge for anything, their attitude was terrible and I'm very friendly so I doubt it was because I came off as a dick. I'm the type of person to order a medium steak and eat a charred one without complaining. They couldn't do anything and made me feel like I was staying at a motel... a $600 a night motel... The more I think about it now, the more pissed off I get. I just didn't want to upset my wife and ruin our special moment so I sucked it up. Anyway ymmv.

Oh and pretty much everyone I talked to in the elevator complained about the broken stuff in their suites. My buddies had 2 non working phones and a remote that didn't work. He called down and they never fixed it. He ended up moving to Aria on saturday.

 

Sorry if I didn't respond to anyones question while I was in Vegas. Its very hard to follow the entire thread on your phone so I mainly use it as a blog of sorts. Also thank you to anyone that congratulated me.

As it was, our wedding was all comped everywhere...and I threw a fit over shortchanging me $15 in comps (when I was ahead $20k)
