Exactly. Caesar's Entertainment gave away so many comps for the Caesar's Sportsbook mobile app with the end result of getting 5% of the overall market. Fanduel and Draft Kings comprise 70-80% of the overall market. Fanduel and DraftKings keep leap frogging over each other for the 1 and 2 spots, while BetMGM is a solid 3rd with 10% of the overall market. This is with Fanduel and DraftKings not offering casino tier status or being tethered to a rewards program like Caesar's Sportsbook with Caesar's Rewards, and those two are pummeling Caesar's Sportsbook.

Remember those annoying Caesar's Sportsbooks ads with Patton Oswalt that promoted the use of the app to earn Caesar's Rewards? After all that promotion and comps being given out, all they got was 5%.

Edit: I forgot to add that Fanduel and DraftKings have zero (0) presence in Nevada, while Caesar's Sportsbook does. Even with that supposed disadvantage, Fanduel, DraftKings, and even BetMGM is beating up Caesar's Sportsbook.

The earning rate on Caesar’s sportsbook is trash. It is far harder to earn tier than playing video poker. That being said the real thing going on here is the further deterioration of an already deteriorated business. I realize a lot of people have local CET casinos so they go to Vegas to burn their comps on vacation, but that is really the only reason to still subject one’s self to staying at these properties in Vegas. Just about every other company is a better option at this point.

How do you know if you have the 4 free drinks or not? Is it the same every day, or is it based on your play for the day?

    I mean, not really?

If we compare Caesars Platinum tier to MGM Pearl (both somewhat similar, free self parking is the primary perk of both), Caesars online sportsbook would require about $50K in total handle (5000 pts, 1 pt for $10 bet), while BetMGM would require about $125K of handle (25,000 pts, 1 pt for $5 bet). Ratio is the same for Diamond vs Gold...

What would it cost you during a 5x multiplier in theo to earn that at VP? $100-$150 vs. $2000-$2500 theo in the sportsbook? So yeah it’s trash. Not the main point being made though which is that CET is terrible.

No its not trash, I'm a "professional" sports bettor and use all the books. By far they offer the best rewards for betting sports outside of the offshore books. But its super competitive and they need to lure in more marketshare so they should be adding rewards not decreasing them imo. Sports betting is the gateway drug to real gambling - its super cutthroat and low margin.

At the end of the day I like using CZR Sportsbook because its a good book not because of the rewards and will continue to use their book regardless of the side perks. I love Circa and they give you nothing for sportsbetting, but their book is amazing and fair (limits clearly shown, takes sharp action, can rebet).

So funny thing, I saw this thread early this morning & went to see if CET had anything on their website about the drink tickets & it was still showing the tickets for drinks & $10 food.
That means that sometime between 8:30 AM CST & this afternoon, they updated the website to remove any mention of tickets.
Here’s a screenshot from my search that shows the tickets were showing earlier but now if you click the link, it takes you to the page you posted.

Last week I booked my BF and I's first trip to Vegas as Diamond+ in June, was really excited to take advantage of this benefit that I'd earned over the first half of the year. I'd even done research on what restaurants accepted the vouchers and reserved them accordingly. Now I'm contemplating canceling this trip altogether. Unbelievable for CET to advertise a benefit for their Diamond+ and higher players and then rip it away with no warning. Say what you will about people abusing the offer, but to take it away in the middle of the year is unacceptable.

Or you could go (assuming your rooms are comped) and play at casinos who treat their players better. I’m not saying that’s what I would do, but that’s what I would do.

You're going to cancel a trip to Vegas because poker players and sports betters can't get $100 per day in free drinks? That's either really petty, or else you were looking for a reason to cancel.

Read through the rest of the thread. They've removed the web pages for Diamond+/7* drink benefits, indicating they're planning on removing the benefits for all players.

As some people have noted, there’s is lost revenue for these free drinks.

I groans on the inside a bit when gf insists on going to Vanderpump for $20-$30 cocktails when we have freebies at NOBU, the Bedford and Bugsy & Meyers.

It definitely saves us $50-100 a day in Vegas as two drinks per person a day and a couple comped while gambling has me covered.

Anyone with boots on the ground who can confirm that they are removing this for everyone/all tiers?

I'd say you are the exception rather than the rule.. and even at that, your situation could be used as evidence for either side of the lost of the 'lost revenue' argument. Sure there's some, but I'd speculate that most of these 'free drinks' are being consumed by folks who would opt-out/get-service-on-the-floor/make-their-own-in-the-room if they weren't getting 4 of them comped in the restaurant. This is certainly true of those 'abusing' the benefit and filling their garages with Fiji water.

Right now, all we have is an endless round of speculation and confusion. It seems like we are running the gamut from some trims to people who (arguably) abuse the free drinks to no 4 free drinks or food voucher for everyone. We won’t know for sure until we get real reports on the ground.

Now, I will be in Vegas in a couple of days. I’m Seven Stars, and I routinely earn a couple thousand TC a day from VP and slots before bonuses. If I find out that they have eliminated the drink benefit and food voucher for me, then it is a fair bet that it was eliminated for all or at least the vast majority of players.

If that is the case, I will definitely be aggravated. However, I’m not going to freak out yet until I know for sure, what if anything that have cut for me.
