I can't find a cocktail menu for the Talon Room. I don't plan on gaming in the Talon Room but I like that it's quiet and relaxing therefore would like to grab a drink or two. Anyone have a link or info?

u cant realy its a hl gaming room real small not a cocktail lounge

sit down bet a few 100 a hand and they will get you the cocktail you want.

its basicaly private gaming otherwise go to the hl room on the main casino floor and buy what you want

Cool. That's what I wanted to know. I've walked through a couple of times but it's been mostly dead but I've seen folks having cocktails in the lounge area occasionally. Guess ill belly up to book & stage and play bad VP. Good old fashioned.

Actually, I disagree with this because I've done it. PP is right that it is small, but there are some comfy seats right next to the bar to grab a drink and chill away from the noise of Cosmo. I've done it without playing there, so don't be deterred. But I've never asked to see any kind of drink menu. I'm not sure they even have one

I may just roll in there next week and see what's up. No harm in just going for it. I thought maybe they had a menu as Book & Stage and Vesper have different drink programs. A good old fashioned or sazerac will do me right.

Act like you're supposed to be there and I guarantee nobody says anything.

Yeah, its really no big deal. Talon room is NOT private gaming. In fact, there's a sign right outside the entrance stating that it is open to the public, lol. It's just high limit, so it attracts a certain type of crowd (and somehow, they still let me in :evillaugh ). So Universal is correct, just walk on in and go up to the bar. Everyone I have met that works in there is very friendly. And you can check out the ridiculous tapestry on the wall. You'll know which one I mean when you see it

My wife and I were at the Mirage and during a very busy time in the casino, we found this VP bar that was almost empty. We sat down, the bartender came over to serve us and we noticed that the machines were all $5. Hmmmm, I don't think we'll be playing, we told the bartender. He said, not to worry and got us cocktails. We sat in the lounge area and Lauren Hutton strolled in, smiled at us snuggled up on the couch and left.

So, I say go for it. Just respect the crowd that's there.
