Wife and I are staying 6 nights at The D. We love downtown but had never stayed at The Fitz. We will have a remodeled room. I am curious about the pool. I understand it is ground level. I searched for pictures or reviews of the pool and found none. Any comments?

Tatter is correct, add that the fact tht it is near the roadway and is small (think motorcourt small) makes it just a place for kids to enjoy.

Thank you for the info. My wife wants to sit out by the pool some while we are there. I showed her the picture of it and she said it looked fine to her. She is easy to please - she married me :confused2:

I probably stayed at Fitzgerald's 10-15 separate times, and I have no clue where the pool is.

I have spent many a hours at this pool. It's quiet, comfy, and they play tunes on the speakers.

The hot tub is especially nice on the ol' bones after a long day of walking.

Fitzgerald pool is fine. We stayed there in winter but the area was still open and the hot tub was HOT.

You have to walk past the check in area and then across the diveway where you get dropped of by the taxi's. It is nice because you don't have hundreds of drunken college kids dancing and prancing around.

Sorry KKB, I didn't mention when I will be there. August 29 - Sept 4. I figure the pool temperature will be fine.
