I read about this method over a year ago, but only decided to use it recently. I had lost money on nine straight trips to the casino, and decided I needed to try a different method of betting. That is when I once again came across and read about the five count method again. I decided to apply this strategy.

I walked into the Ameri-Star casino in St. Louis with a bank roll of $500. After getting my chips the first shooter rolled a five, his point. He then rolled four straight inside numbers reaching the five count. So I placed $22 on the inside. He then rolled a three, a six and then a seven. So I lost $15 on the first shooter.

Then shooter number two only rolled the dice twice. He set the point, and then rolled out. I didn't win or lose on him.

The third roller got to four rolls before she rolled a seven on her fifth roll. Again, I lost no money.

The fourth roller got to a three count and rolled out on the fourth roll.

Then came shooter number five. He was standing next to me. He rolled a seven, then set the point of nine. He then rolled a five, six, five, and a eight getting to the five count number. I then placed $44 on the inside.

The shooter then threw four straight numbers that I won nothing on. However, he hadn't sevened out yet but had thrown the dice now nine times.
So far I had made nothing off of this strategy.

Then on roll on ten he hit the six. I made $14 off of that roll. Then came the eight, followed by another six, and then the nine, which as I said was the point. I now had made $56 off of his last four rolls of the dice.

As he got ready to throw the dice to set a new point, he was taking his 14th roll on his turn. He sat the point of sixth. He threw an eight and then another six. He now had thrown the dice 16 times, and I had gotten a $84 return on my $44 initial bet. I was now up $40 total on this man's roll.

Now I decided to press my bets. His 17th roll was a ten. He then proceeded to roll a six, five, six, three, two, eight, eleven, six, five, five, six, five, before hitting the ten, his third point.

When he hit the first six I pressed it to $24. I pressed the five to a $20 bet. When he hit the six again, I won $28. After winning nothing on the three or two, I pressed the eight to $24. After the eleven, I won another $140 before he hit the ten.

My return was now up to $224 on this man's roll after my initial $44 dollar bet, giving me a $180 profit.

The shooter had now thrown the dice 30 times.

His 31st and 32nd rolls were 12's. Then he set the point of four. I decided at this point to wait until he threw an eight before taking all my bets down to $22 across on the inside.

His 34th roll of the dice was an eight. I made another $28 dollars bringing my profit total after that throw to $208. I then took my $24 place bets on the five, six and nine down to a $6 bet. (Of course I got some grief from the dealer, but shrugged it off because I know he is only trying to do his job.) By coming down $18 on each of those three numbers, I added to my total profit on this man's roll. I now add $36 of profit for a total of $244.

I also took the nine down to $6. Now if he threw a seven, I only stood to lose $22 of the original $44 that I bet on him after he had reached the five count.

On roll number 35 one of the dice stopped on the six. The second dice appeared to be stopping on a two, when it it some chips and flopped over to a one. He had thrown a seven and his roll was over.

I lost $22 on the table. My total profit on the man's roll was $222.
Then I subtracted the $15 I had lost on the first shooter, and my total profit was $207 total.

I passed on my turn and left the casino after cashing out.

With an extra $207 in my pocket, I head over to Harrah's which is about a five minute drive away from Ameri-Star.

After buying in the first seven shooters all threw a seven before they got to the count of five after setting the point. Three of the seven had gotten to four before rolling out on throw number five.

Roller number eight, threw a six to set the point. He then hit the six for his second roll. Then he three a three, and then set the point of four. He was now up to four numbers. His fifth roll was a six, but I decided to wait one more roll before betting. His sixth roll was a ten. I then bet $44 across on the inside, deciding as I did that I would collect on the first hit, and then press before betting again since I had waited this long to place bets.

His 7th through 10th rolls came up two, eight, two, and eight. So far I had only collected $14 an was still down $30. Then he threw a six and another six before hitting another eight on his 13th roll. Now I had collected $56, so I was up $12 on this man's roll.

He then hit the nine, five, two, twelve, six, eight, and four, before he rolled a seven. I collected $14 on the nine, another $28 each on the six and eight bringing my total to $126. Then I subtracted my initial $44 bet and I actually made $82 off of this shooter. His total number of rolls was 21.

Now I watched the next three shooters all seven out before reaching the five count.

At this point I decided to leave the table having only bet on one of the nine shooters, but he had made me $82, so I wasn't complaining.

At this point I'd been gambling for about two hours. I was up a grand total of $289 on the day. I decided to call it a day and went home and took my wife out to eat.

I tried this strategy last month. Since, I've been back to the St. Louis casino's six times over the last thirty days to try the same strategy.

I walked way with the following amounts.
    Trip 1: $147
    Trip 2: $230
    Trip 3: $340
    Trip 4: $60
    Trip 5: $280
    Trip 6: $400

As you can see I was successful on all those trips over the last month. In all, I've made $1,746 in those seven trips since i implemented this five count method that i read about.

I know at some point I'll get snake bitten because no strategy is 100% concrete. In fact, it almost happened to me on trip number four.

So I just wanted to share my story and wish everybody the best of luck.

"At this point I'd been gambling for about two hours. I was up a grand total of $289 on the day."

Nothing personal, but you were not gambling for two hours. You were standing at a table for two hours and probably were gambling for about 20 minutes.

If this is your idea of fun, knock yourself out. I go to a casino to gamble, and winners can come just as easily on the third roll as the sixth.

Whatever floats your boat. But I hope a player was not frozen out of a full table while you stood there counting on your fingers.

Regardless of what your strategy is, I was gambling by implementing this new strategy I read about. I may not have been putting money on the table for every single shooter, but I was gambling.

Isn't the goal to make money? I can't count the number of people I've lost money on who only had rolls of 1, 2, or 3 rolls after or before someone had a decent roll.

If you call good gambling losing $100 over two or three shooters, then making it all back on the next guy, only to lose it right back over the next two or three shooters, then have fun. I've been on several tables on many different nights where that scene played out for hours.

All I know is that right now this strategy I'm trying is making me some money. As for counting on my fingers, nah, I use chips.

    Good luck and happy gambling!

$5 says the new guy is broke by July 4th.

Your "system" is a joke. Basic math, dude.

Nice to see the haters out in force. The system I'm trying has made me 7 for 7 in the seven attempts that I've implemented it in the St. Louis casino's.

Broke by the 4th of July? I highly doubt it since I leave the table after one really good roll that has made me some decent money.

I'm not one of these gamblers that spends hours giving my money back once I've made money. I'm also not one of these gamblers that has to make a certain amount of cash before I leave a table either. If I only made $20, I'd be happy with that amount. I've also noticed with this system that you usually have one decent roll out of every ten to fifteen shooters. If I've got to wait to put money down on a decent roll, so be it. At least I'll make money.

Thanks for your comment and happy gambling!

35 straight rolls and you won 2/5 your buy-in? man, you need to get rid of that system. if i found a guy that hot i would have had every number covered and pressed the hell out of it and won a bundle.

I will agree that I probably could have made more money. That I will not deny. Right now I'm just enjoying the fact that I'm making money with this system.

Thanks for the comment and happy gambling!

The biggest bonus of this strategy is that you are probably only playing ~25% of the rolls. In the end you will still lose, but you will get to play longer. Getting a 35 pt roll every trip is going to be tough. Good job on winning, there is just nothing magical about this strategy. You will still get a lot of 5 rolls and then a 7. The thing that is helping you is that it may take 10 shooters between bets if there are a lot of point sevens.

Thanks for the post. There is no system that will win for you in the long run except for staying away. Your variance will probably just increase and the time at the table will definitely increase through what you have implemented. A seven on the dice has just as much of a chance of coming up on the 6th roll as it does any other. There is no magical way to tell when a hot streak will continue no matter how many rolls you wait before you put your money down. I am glad you are taking the casinos money, good luck!

I only skimmed your post. It is long and craps aren't interesting to me.

There are a couple of rumors going around on the internet that there is no betting pattern of negative expectation bets that will make it sum up to a positive expectation total wager; just dirty rumors, I venture.

That being the case, gambling becomes more concerned with enjoyment, creating strategies that maximize fun and create a win distribution more suited to your risk appetite. (Would you like a lot of small losses and one big win, or a couple of small wins and one big loss?)

    Your strategy doesn't sound fun.

    It sounds boring.

Hope you can continue on your winning streak. Enjoy it while it lasts. I read about that strategy a few years ago, but it is definitely not my style of gambling. I cannot see myself at the craps table only playing after the shooter has thrown the dice five times.

Scoblete himself admits all this strategy is good for is getting a better rating than you actually deserve IF the box isn't paying attention.

There is the REAL reason this system is working for you. Most of us are not inclined to walk away. We keep playing, trying to win even more, and we all know how that works out.

Glad it worked out for you. I suspect that some of the negativity you’re getting comes from the fact that every few months someone comes on here with a sure fire way to win an unwinnable game and simply won’t listen to simple logic as they continue to defend their ridiculous strategy. Most of us are just tired of hearing about it and trying to convince morons that 2+2 does indeed equal 4.

This strategy – unlike many others – is actually good for something: getting you to play fewer rolls and therefore reduce your overall losses. So, I say have at it. It is not the reason you won. It will not help you win. But, it will help reduce your losses (but not as a percentage of $ gambled) and it sounds like you enjoy it.

So, as long as you’re not going to try to convince anyone that this system can help them win I don’t see anything wrong with you relating your experiences with it. Good luck.

You need to understand is that 'the system' isn't making you money, rather that you've been lucky to be standing there when some people had long runs with the dice. People not using your system also made money at those tables.

You've been lucky because through random chance you've avoided shooters that seven-out on their 6th or 7th or 8th or 9th roll after you've put your money across and missed out on winning much of anything before your bets were swept away.

The '5-count' is based on the faulty premise that some shooters are more skilled than others and you can identify them (or identify and skip the 'bad' shooters), by skipping bets on each shooter's first 5 rolls. It certainly has the advantage of making you bet less, but that is its only advantage.

Yes - the less you bet the less you lose - if you don't bet at all, you don't lose at all.

I guess I don't see what fun it is to stand at a table watching other people play the game. That's not why I go to a casino

What he said. Good playing strategy (for one person) is one thing. Sure fire winning methods is another.

except with the good rolls you've seen recently you should have made a lot more money. this system has limited how much you made. systems are generally bad when you're on a hot streak as almost all of them limit how much you will win.

the real "advantage" to these types of systems is they should limit how much you lose on bad streaks. if 10 players in a row seven out before 5 rolls, you saved a bunch of money.

so if you hate losing more than you love winning, this type of system is for you.

Betting "systems" are for degenerate gamblers who would rather lengthen their time at the table than have a chance to win something substantial.

Wow, stratagies my arse, if any of them actually worked there would be no such thing as a casino as we would all be doing it.

Its entertainment , a bit of fun , if I win its a bonus.
