Right there with ya. Our server recommended the bone-in ribeye a few visits ago and it was melt-in-your-mouth great.

The Range really is a hidden gem. A steakhouse without pretension.
Because, sometimes, you just want a tasty piece of meat. :wink2:

Range is great, but if you use tix4 tonite they have a limited menu- you may want to ck it out.

One of my favorite LV traditions, first night is always dinner at Range.

I would pick the Wynn buffet over the Bellagio, nicer atmosphere and food. I have not tried any of the steakhouses mentioned but the comments about Range got me interested especially since i love a great bone in ribeye.

Is the Range really that good? Im mostly interested about the food itself and can it hold its own against other top steakhouses like Prime, SW, N9ne and Carnevino?

Everyone has their own standards for what constitutes something "really that good". Especially on a Vegas messageboard. :evillaugh

The Range is a good enough steakhouse. It's not the finest of dining experiences in Las Vegas but sometimes a person just wants a nice meal for a decent price (as per Vegas prices) without all the bells and whistles.
The bone-in ribeye is tasty and satisfying.

Oh, and I'd pick the Wynn buffet too.

I've been to the Range about 5 or 6 times. The last two the steaks weren't great (portorhouse and filet). I've never tried the bone-in ribeye though. The atmosphere is really nice. It occupies a large area above the carnival court and it kind of surprises you the first time you go there because you just don't expect something like it in Harrah's.

The best steak and service I've had recently was Hank's at the Green Valley Ranch.
