Went to Laughlin in March for the first time in 12-13 years. Stayed across the street, which at one time was called the Ramada Express, think it's the Trop now. Had two nights booked, but left after one. Found it all just smokey and dreary. Did have a good dinner at an Italian restaurant on the second floor at the Belle.

maybe they fell asleep on the shuttle from the airport and ended up playing checkers at the senior center.

 

So apparently there will be no live updates because there are no computers in the diamond lounge. So I got this text to post: There is no computer in the diamond lounges. But I was feeding a pack of raccoons on the deck. Seriously fun here but yes lots of oldies. Been dealt trip aces 7-8 times...no quads. Started chasing dollars and finally got this in the high limit room!



Please post on VMB that I can't post live. Upgraded room too after last night. This place is a nice change. Only third quad! Down $350.

I was getting worried he and the g/f got caught up with the 5 o'clock dinner buffet crowd . Played a cribbage tourney and passed out by 8pm! :evillaugh

The Belle is where my dad spent many a night (comp'd) enroute to Yuma , Az because of hits like that

My wife hit a royal on that bank of full pay machines last year. I also hit aces with a kicker on that bank. They are pretty friendly machines at times.

well suggested, I powered my phone on and sent the text before the VMB post, and I don't even turn my phone on as basically it is a whip-like extension of my wife's hand more often than not.

 

Three minutes? At my age I can't do two in a row!

 

So I am actually too busy at work to get some trip details but I assure you they are coming. I hit more quads at the Belle including some aces (finally) on the last night.

It was a fun trip and a nice change up from Vegas. Very detailed report coming.

I would have had some details last night but Allegiant was two hours late taking off yesterday. Shocking for them I know! I would say they are late about 50% of the time.

I will say this, Laughlin is as old demographically as everyone says it is. But that did not mean I didn't like it!
