MyVegas 2021 MyVEGAS HGS Rewards?

Went to the HGS events room and they’ve got about 20 desks with staff helping to redeem points etc.

They had to go and speak with a manager tor mine as it was through myVEGAS.

I explained I’d filled a form in for both events and gave them the code I got when I purchased it.

Had it sorted within five minutes and all the money was on my card when I put the card in a machine.

 

Had a similar experience, and like yours, it was resolved in minutes.

 

Yes, that’s exactly what happened Didn’t see this until I finished the conversion (first quarter Royal YAY *and* after holding only two cards ) - all in all cashed out at $2494

I just wanted to say thanks to @DaiLun and @Marky147 for sharing knowledge and providing updates; you saved my ass!

First HGS for me, I ended up landing in Vegas at 1:18 on Sunday after a flight delay. I made it over to Bellagio and navigated the crowds with bags in tow to find the ballroom. I had to tell the guy at the HGS redemption desk to talk with his manager after he suggested I had to walk over to the mLife desk. He was hesitant until I made it clear that other “friends” redeemed it at HGS. Redemption and FreePlay conversion got done at 1:52 A little too close for comfort for me.

While waiting for the manager to redeem the points, he mentioned that 50% of people working the desks are from casino marketing, and 50% are pulled in from around the resort. He is a Food and Beverage Manager for a couple of restaurants. Found out all the HGS “managers” are Casino Hosts, thus have system access to add HGS points / redeem awards. Found it an interesting detail to note if anyone runs into trouble at ARIA.

I had to leave Monday for work, but will be back next weekend. Was able to turn those 500K points into some nice change with below FreePlay wins at MGM. Then met up with a buddy at Wynn and parlayed my winnings into the highest Double Top Dollar win (that isn't 1,000 credits) that I have seen! Hopefully next weekend is the same!

My host came through, at last - got the confirmation email on Monday for the Aria event 500k HGS point reward

Anyone else think that filling out the Google forms weeks ago was seemingly useless? Seems a lot of people had to have their points and stay validated at the HGS desk anyway. However, MGM did a great job quickly resolving issues and keeping things moving. Just the fact that we can earn additional HGS points through PlayStudios rewards is awesome.

 

Stopped by the Aria mLife desk today and was told we can go straight to the Mariposa ballroom later today to redeem HGS rewards. Just thought I'd share since there were minor mix-ups at the MGM event.

 

Update: Same experience as last week. You'll probably need to have your points verified and loaded at the HGS desk.

 

Yeah just experienced the same. Went straight to Mariposa and was sent back down to the Players club desk

 

I'm going to see if I can get mine tomorrow, on the way to the Haney fight.

If not, will have to get up early Sunday and head up to sort it after early check-in at NYNY

I'm almost certain you will want to be checked in at NYNY before going to Aria to redeem, @Marky147.

MGM does not want players redeeming HGS points then canceling their reservation.

 

Yes, the first question that the boothling asked me was "where was I staying", and "what was my room number?"

 

I did the Spin to Win but only managed one entry and didn't win anything. Isn't that a better use of the points instead of straight Freeplay? Seems like you can just keep trying until you score high enough. It's only 2500 pts per try and largely luck.

Yeah, I was going to use the 'I can hardly cancel and shoot home, I'm here until January, lol.

Now Mike mentions it, I remember them asking where I was staying when I cashed mine in, and was obviously still half asleep from the flight.

 

Yep that happened to a guy in front of me yesterday as well, so we went into ballroom had drinks and did spin to win then loaded points downstairs.
