MyVegas 2021 MyVEGAS HGS Rewards?

Nope. I think you will be fine. I will be at the event tomorrow, so I might not even give the mLife system time to reflect the updated balance.

 

Gotcha, the e-mail I received said Wednesday and I had to fill out the form twice which made me a little nervous.

 

I've done this the past three times and every time I got my points when they said I would. It wasn't necessarily when I wanted them, but I got them.

This is what the T&C that I received said:

"Redeem Your Reward
Book and/or confirm you have a room reservation at an MGM Resorts property between 11/26/21 and 11/28/21. Your Holiday Gift Shoppe Gift Points will be automatically downloaded to your M life account and available for use in person at Bellagio between 11/26/21 and 11/28/21 (see hours below). To shop for items and redeem your Holiday Gift Shoppe Gift Points, visit the Showroom at Bellagio. Redemptions must be redeemed in person. Visit the Bellagio Showroom located in the Tower Ballroom: - 11/26 (3:00pm-7:00pm) - 11/27 (11:00m-5:00pm) - 11/28 (10:00am-2:00pm) *** Redemptions are non-reversible. Unredeemed Gift Points do not carry over to the next year and expire at 02:00PM PDT on Sunday, November 28, 2021. ***"

I'm don't want to to get into a pissing contest about what, when, or where.

 

Checked at 6AM PST this morning (friday 11/26). All of my Las Vegas comps are 0. HGS points are zero, so I expect that the system, is about to update.

Checked at 6:30 AM, points were restored but no change to the HGS points.

I went to Bellagio mlife desk this morning. The Supervisor told me that MY HGS reward will not show until i check in ( tomorrow ) as they need a room number and to make sure i do not cancel . Makes sense .

 

That would make sense. Good info. I will mention to my host that having those instructions in the emails would eliminate a lot of angst among the reward recipients.

 

500,000 HGS points successfully redeemed. Bellagio is packed. The line for the MLife desk was wrapped around the corner past Jasmine, but the ballroom area where the HGS event is taking place is organized and running very well. There is a cool PlayStudios booth setup towards the back of the hall, but its mostly there to try to entice new players.

 

I've been sat around the cashier at Mandalay Bay for ~4 hours playing, and the line has never been under 40-50 ppl the whole time.

Played a bit and went back to room, think I'll have a look again later, and leave it until the morning.

I see in the rewards it says points expire at 2pm on the 5th for the 2nd event. Is that different this year?

I checked in at about 8pm on the last day of the HGS event in 2019.

 

So is converting the HGS points to FP not possible at the kiosks, or are the lines created by people getting the points applied to their MLife accounts (or maybe other HGS issues)? Would it make more sense to just go to the event?

 

Mandalay has closed their MLife desk, and now the cashier is operating as both, which isn't going to help matters.

They have the HGS signs up at the cashier and the closed MLife desk, so I would think at least some of them will be for redeeming, even if not Playstudios, like us,

 

Just saw that line an hour ago, and all I can say is wow!

 

I thought I was looking at the WSOP payout lines at the Rio!

Think I might have a kip, and then take a look in a few hours.

Wouldn’t redeem mine at Mandalay Bay and sent me to Bellagio. Said they can’t do it here

Explained that in 2019 it was at Bellagio and Park MGM redeemed them for me.

Told me she had been working on HGS for 8 years and I was wrong.

Anyone had any luck redeeming them outside of the Bellagio?

 

Was easy enough at Bellagio, so will just make sure I check into NYNY before lunch and go straight to Aria on the 5th.

 

Did you go to the event room or the MLife desk/cashier’s cage to get it settled?
