I hate when shows are cancelled on a cliffhanger. Like Las Vegas was after the writer's strike.

Just Jordan was a funny TV Show that was cancelled after 2 Seasons due to the Writer's Strike. One of my favorite episodes was Jordan's Friend Critter, a budding Athlete, stealing $50 from Jordan's Grandfather so he could go see some show. He had tried to encourage Jordan to steal $50 from his Grandfather, but Jordan wisely refused. Jordan's Grandfather claims he is missing exactly $50 and Jordan knows that Critter is responsible, but doesn't rat him out to his Grandfather.

Jordan does claim that he Critter was caught on camera stealing the $50. Critter "Accidentally," breaks the video tape and Jordan says that tape was actually Monica's My Little Pony tape and Monica would be going after him for breaking her tape. Lol. Jordan shows Critter the real tape of him stealing from his Grandfather. Jordan's Mom conveniently came during the argument of Critter stealing $50 from her Father and Jordan's Grandfather. She then tells Critter's Mom that he stole $50 from her Father. Critter's Mom defends her Son claiming that he is a good boy who doesn't steal and would be a Star Athlete soon.

Jordan's Mom confronts her about babying her Son. IIRC, Critter's Mom is really angry and she and Critter leave Jordan's house. Later, it is implied that she found out that Critter her "Good boy," did steal the $50 and she gives Jordan's Mom the $50 back, claiming that Critter said he "found" the $50. Critter's Mom agrees to be more strict with Critter and she shows it by yelling at him when he complained he needed to protect his throwing arm when she told him to put something on her car.

Just Jordan could have lasted more than 2 Seasons.

I forgot about that show. I loved it. Great to watch before leaving for Vegas.

Yep, when they cancelled Kolchak I was peeved. In retrospect, I seriously think they ran out of viable scripts. But McGavin was classic.

These shows were so absurdly bad I watched them. What can I say, people do stupid things at age 19.

Cop Rock is very high on my list of the absolute worst TV programs ever produced!

And by worst, you mean gloriously mesmerizing.

How did that show go through pitch, casting, screenplay and filming without someone saying, "this is not a good idea"?

TT maybe the worst show ever. In one episode, Tony and Doug are supposed to be in Troy during the Trojan War. Luckily the Trojans and Greeks spoke perfect English and when the camera cuts away to what is supposedly Troy they show a stock image of the Athenian acropolis, with crumbling buildings and all. But I loved it, too.

No! I mean so bad that I turned on something else without finishing a single episode. I think it was about the time they broke into the song and dance thing.

I'm sure that it was very similar to how really bad ideas proliferate in many organizations. People do not think critically, also people are afraid to openly challenge what one or more of the Big Shots thinks is a good idea.

Yeah, but for it's "time" (pun intended), it was the only 'time-travel' show around.
..but yeah - it was Irwin Allen...of 'Land of the Giants' fame... so expectations started out "low"...

So, would you agree with, instead, citing '7 Days'?
Here's a clip explaining the show:
