I had a similar happening in Buffalo Diamond a couple trips ago. Got it on a 1.50 bet and expected I would get at least a min hand pay. Ended up with a couple hundred.

I would guess $3000+. Can't believe the otherwise.

So based on this dramatic pause it was:

1) Handpay
2) *just* under a handpay
3) REALLY bad because Buffalo et al can be like that

 

I saw someone with similar bet, but only half the initial free spins, ended with $8k.

 

I'd hope 5K plus, but the similar Buffalo can be all over the place.
Have had 75 cent bet bonuses pay out better than higher bet bonuses.

 

So here we go;-):

Well as you can see in the picture it was quite a nice handpay!
The bonus itself was epic indeed, waited for 2 raspberry lemon drops and started the 24 min ride.
The nice graphics, gorgeous sound effects and all - it was an epic experience!
However I gotta admit that I assumed it would be even a little higher. No real complaints here, don’t get me wrong, I played it for the very first time and only 30$ in hit this amazing bonus but there have been NO retriggers at all in 169 spins and of course many, many dead spins. Took 112 spins to get into handpay territory and I had only one! real good spin with 5 of a kind wolfs, the 3 and 5 multipliers and overall times 4! This one spin got me exactly 1200$, without that spin I would’ve been somewhat disappointed! So I wish I had 2 or more spins like that ;-)
So all in all a great experience but I started this little game both as entertainment but also to hear your thoughts and expectations in case I had the wrong“ expectations.

So this got me thinking -the bonus round stops mid-bonus for a hand pay? I would think the hand pay would be done all at once at the end.

If i understand this right.

• Two $1100 wins during the bonus round for a total of $2200, no hand pay.
• One $1600 win during the bonus round, hand pay

Is that how that would go down?

Bonuses/wins within a bonus all get added up until the bonus ends. If the total is 1200+ then hand pay/tax paperwork.
(Actually there are some casinos/machines that will require a hand pay at 1K or less, but w/o taxes. )

It also does not matter how much money you already have sitting in the machine. Some people think you will have to pay taxes if you have $1199 and then win a $1.
