Now I don't know where you are from, but around here, a good beater is worth at least $100, $200 if it'll pass inspection so you can get plates...

Now with that being said, for some reason I woke up at 4:45 am this morning, gave up trying to sleep at 5:30 and hit the road early.

Now to take a nap in my chair at home.

 

Here’s hoping for an HP to pay the HP and still be a little (or preferably a lot) up at the end So you can buy a mailbox and have it installed, for starters

So here is the story @martinr I built this house 30 years ago when there was only one other house in the subdivision, the original house. Anyway, since my office was across from the post office, and I got my mail there, I did not see the need to put up a mailbox. Fast Forward five years or so, and the original house owner, and subdivider, decided that anybody who built out there couldn't just put up any mailbox, it has to be encased in brick with an archway top over it. Fancy! So instead of a $30 mailbox, you "have" to put up a $2000 mail box, and I told him to go jump in the lake.

Now the subdivision is 95% full with really pretty mailboxes, except for my house. Yep, no mailbox, figure I have survived just fine for 30 years without one, I can continue. When I sell, somebody else can build the fancy mailbox.
