Has anyone no-played their CET comp to Atlantis Bahamas?

Let me start by saying I’m definitely a comp abuser/hustler. I used my 7 Stars Atlantis Bahamas reward in 2017 at the Cove tower and I no played them. The host kept calling the room and eventually found me in the casino when I was using the free slot play. He gave me a hard time about not playing that trip.

im thinking of returning to use the reward again this year but now I’m only diamond plus. I’m not interested in gambling there. Do you think I can get away with it again without them reversing my room/food comps?

Use a credit card with a low limit for the incidental hold upon check-in. Other than that I don't know

The terms mention that rated play is required. I believe I called to ask once and it was something like 4 hours over the whole trip which really isn't much. Are their machines super tight?
If I were them I wouldn't let you book again:nono:, unless you bought a bunch of their expensive food and drinks while there?:)
These are like the "free" cruises where they hope you will spend/lose more than their costs.

I have never been to Atlantis. I actually booked the trip twice in past years but never actually went. Thinking of going this winter and (very) low playing. I don’t think I would dare zero play, lol.

    Thoughts:

The use of a low limit card to check in is a good one.

I agree, Atlantis controls these reservations and if I were them I would refuse to upfront comp anyone who had been there on a CET offer and zero played.

I don't have any direct knowledge, but a friend of mine did this and they wanted to charge him the cost of his comp upon check out. it was a 3 ring Circus trying to check out of the hotel without getting charged for his folio. this was a couple years ago, I'll get more of the story from him and report back with more details

Seems like if you have to play for the benefit that's supposed to be complimentary, then it's not really a benefit. If I book a CET or MGM comp and no-play them, it will affect my future offers, but they are not going to try and charge me for the room.

I also wonder what the back-end of the agreement between CET and Atlantis is and if CET is reimbursing Atlantis for a portion of the comps or Atlantis is giving CET a cut of any losses.

My understanding is that this is zero cost to Caesars, and they are somewhat likely even getting paid for the referral. When you book these, you are booking through Atlantis VIP Casino Services, no through CZR. CR is just providing them verification of your tier, and probably your play history, because as you get to the upper tiers, the offers are sort of elastic like 3 to 5 nights in tower A, B, or C, depending on your play history, at least when I booked mine in 2019. I would presume said play history comes from Caesars. They're effectively doing the same thing as the many independent casino hosts, so I'd be surprised if there isnt a kickback going back at CZR for this, and it's win-win because they get to offer it as a tier benefit. Pretty sure the MLife cruises work the same.

I agree with every bit of this.

Caesars does an amazingly great job of making it look to the common customer like they actually operate (if not also own) Atlantis.

    Update:
I texted my friend and he advised that his reservation stay at Atlantis was booked through an independent host, and not through a CZR reward, so his situation does not apply here. His stay apparently had some play requirements (or were insinuated by the independent host) that Atlantis felt weren't met.

I guess I missed the fine print. I didn't know there was a play component. I'm Diamond and wanted to use the Atlantis offer at some point. I don't gamble outside of Vegas and my home casino so that would be a problem

Does our players card work in their casinos?

They have a separate players program.

I do remember from past research on Atlantis that they did offer at times a comp offer program for those with certain players cards in the states. It always had a disclaimer that rated play of some sort was required.

Cant help you with the no play but i have been there before my play warranted much for comps. I wonder how tight their slots are compared to Vegas which we all know are already tight. I can't see Bahamas being any better.

I don't think the Bahamas has the oversight for slot payback % like Las Vegas does with the NGCB. They can pretty much make them as tight as they want. What are you going to do, not come back? The trip was comped to start with, so you don't come back for another comped trip??

I would say if (as in opening post) you are an admitted comp abuser….why ask us…abuse them and report back…..we love that stuff. :rolleyes:Are there posts of other abuses that worked out? I don’t see them.

    Straight from the offer page:

Atlantis management reserves the right to modify, change or cancel at its sole discretion. If you accept this offer and do not show any rated casino play, the Atlantis may charge you for some or all of your upfront complimentaries including rooms, food & drink, limos, etc.

It’s been a few years but 3 separate couples went on separate offers, we all zero played them:

-one was a rebooking offer directly from Atlantis from a prior trip. No play, and no hard time given

-I booked as 7-stars trip and I no-played, no hard time given (I read the fine print of my offer and confirmed upon booking that as a 7-star was under no obligation to play).

-last booked as a diamond and zero played them and they then charged him the costs of his room at the end. Said the offer was contingent upon some requirements that he didn’t read. He raised enough hell to where they only charged him half.

Those were my experiences about 4 years ago. I personally wouldn’t ever go back even though it’s free as it is to “low brow” for me. Pretty much a stationary cruise ship.

Having done the CET "comp" trip to Atlantis twice, I did look into it in advance since both times were the result of having platinum status through the credit card and not from play. When I asked, I was given a mixture of "no obligation" and "just play as you normally do" type answers, but the booking email said I need at least four hours of rated play in order to avoid being charged. I definitely did not play very much on either trip... and was never given a hard time about it. Personally, I might suggest putting in a tiny amount of play (e.g., slow-playing quarter video poker) so that your account shows something vs nothing (and perhaps take a few pictures while playing which you can show them in case whether or not you played gets called into question). But based on my experiences, I would not sweat "meeting an obligation" on what is technically a no-obligation trip.

This. I stayed at Atlantis and played very light amounts but slowly enough to last the 4 hours for the four night stay. No big deal to satisfy so why “no play”?

I agree. I stayed 2018 and used my freeplay as my gambling budget to get free drinks while playing at the casino. Just play some low rolling video poker for an hour and that should satisfy the no playing dilemma. A host never bothered me.
