I just want to say that you are a tough and courageous man of the sea. I once deep sea fished with a man for 7 years on his boat. I enjoyed the sea but I finally decided to stop fishing one day.

I apologized to this man and told him I've lost interest and admire him for his love of the sea. He smiled and said he understands. "We are a special breed" he added.

Yes, you and others like you are very much indeed.

So glad that you are safe and on the mend.

    Update on Clint.
I'm his wife Diana. He is out of surgery and resting now. He has multiple fractures in his pelvic bone and a broken wrist. They have repaired his pelvic bones and will do another surgery later this week to fix his wrist.
The Dr said that his injury is very severe and his recovery will be long and painful. His boat days are over for at least a year. Clint was born with a Gypsy spirit and our life together has been a never ending series of adventures. We will make it through this Adventure together.
I want to say THANK YOU to all those that helped Talk him in.

Thank you for the update. I was hoping the injuries would end up being less severe, but I will be praying for a complete recovery and that his spirit helps him through the rough time. Good luck to you and your family!

we do offshore fishing often, we never go out alone and my brother being the boat mechanic, hes on every trip...years back one of the guys that goes with us, they free dive and spearfish. he was on someone else boat and ended up getting the benz. I wish I could find the video, the boat was speeding back to shore while radioing for help. the coast guard plucked him off the speeding boat like it was sitting still...
