it was reported that there were only four full pay video poker machines in all of Circa when it was opened. These machines had 8/5 Bonus Poker at 50 cents and higher. Well things are changing already. There are a group of 20 - 30 machines in a concave shape on the first floor facing the sports book screens. I checked a couple of random machines, and they were also full pay at the 50 cent and higher level. In addition to that. There is a similar group of machines in the same configuration on the second floor also overlooking the Sports book that have the same pay schedule. Now, I only checked a few so I am assuming they are all full pay. So, one of the nicest casinos in all of Vegas has full pay VP at a fifty cent level.

It’s nice to see Circa ‘come down’ a little on their offerings. Table mins today were $15. Most of the rest of downtown was $10.

Screw Circa and Screw Derek Stevens. The HL room has crappy rules and they don't want real gamblers. I will never go back there. I'll stick to the strip where we are appreciated!!! Circa wants the frat boy, ****** bag crowd.

What are the rules in the high limit room there? For tables or slots?

Playing VP in front of the sportsbook in the afternoon sounds fun. Anyone know how good the drink service is around that area?

Walked through a few times, mostly midweek and empty, but never played, which games have the crappy rules and where are the better strip games?
TIA, it's all pretty much too high for me at 100 anyways, but just wondering..

Last I saw, not great, I think it's why those sportsbook facing machines spit drink tickets, kind of self serve.

I played there a lot last Sunday and Monday. The Machines spit out tickets. I had a couple really good waitresses that would come around a lot, I tipped good and they didn’t even collect my ticket, so I had a bunch for the bar later. One time I had a waitress that wasn’t around as much and she did take the tickets.

So go up to the bar and get drinks yourself with those? Imo not too terrible if playing with a +1, you can be your own CW

Yeah since you have no bartender watching you play they had to do something if they wanted to offer comped drinks. I got one this last trip trying to pick off a AP slot play. I didn't pay attention to how much coin-in it took though...

Then I went to the actual bar and played, service was okay, not great. I was sitting in a pretty horrible place for bartenders to see me though.

@tringlomane did you happen to play at Overhang? Was considering stopping in to play and watch the ballgame...

anyone else play there, comment on drink service, I will be likely solo and would prefer not to leave my seat to get my beverages...

Was with my wife, so Didn't mind going up to the bar to grab our drinks. I did see a waitress from time to time mostly gathering empty glasses.

There didn't seem tombs any set amount in that would produce a ticket, but it seemed that if you took small breaks to watch a game it would really delay the tickets

It does look like a great place to watch a sports game and play some decent VP at the same time. That screen is so bright and really good HD. I was there on a Monday afternoon and business was OK. Not what I would call busy, but not vacant either. Lots of tables open and about 2/3 with players. All table mins. were $15.

IME I got more tickets than I could use there, think they somewhat recently relaxed .50 VP mins to .25 up there,
The tickets are great to grab a beer (no great microbrews available imo), but only good for well liquor on mixed drinks (according to one bartender once)
I would usually just hop over to play a little on the bar machines (can still see screens, but it gets pretty full over there), get better drinks by tipping, and give tickets away.

at least those tickets last 24 hr vs Cosmos 2 hr..

I also once landed in a bad spot for service when the bar was full, then this jerk cut in front of me in line,
I was going to give him some grief, but he was sketching out the recovery plan for the pool after that crazy windstorm,

I was playing $1 VP at the upstairs VP machines facing the sports book screens and it was spitting out tickets much faster than I could drink them. Of course I was pacing myself because I had to drive back to Bellagio.

Waitress service was ok, but not great. I thought no I ended up giving away 5 tickets to the guys sitting next to me.

Yeah for a bit. Service was okay, but it wasn't busy either. Pretty easy to get decent service at the bar then.
