I guess I will cancel once I confirm my reservation is for the "experience" not the table???I am waiting to "chat with opentable.com" to confirm what I have a reservation for. If the "experience" is validated, this "bait and switch" con by Caesar's is really despicable. I will, however, take a wait and see position for now and will report back.

The 'Experience' pricing posted above is for 7 days a week. Maybe OpenTable is listing old information? The announcement of re-opening is for Thursday to Monday only.,

I noticed that too. I hope they are actually going to be open 7 days as Tuesday & Wednesday nights are the only nights I'm usually in Vegas..

Update...I received a reply from opentable.com. It was their understanding that the reservation was for a table, not an experience. However, they suggest I contact the restaurant to confirm, which I will do next week when it opens.

Do we know if Diamond needs reservations, or will there be a Diamond line?

Received unsolicited second email from opentable saying that my reservation was definitely for table and not the "experience".

Also the above listed prices may be wrong. Vital Vegas reports Monday and Thursday 64.99 and Fri-Sun 69.99. No All you can drink package yet.

The website now just states one fixed price "
    PRICE
    Thurs - Mon: $64.99/person

Due to limited capacity, we ask that guests please keep their dining experience to 90 minutes."

    https://www.caesars.com/caesars-palace/restaurants/bacchanal-buffet?utm_medium=local&utm_source=yelp&utm_content=restaurant&utm_campaign=9FA_Yelp_Listings&dclid=CjgKEAjwse-DBhCf0vjJ06H8vlESJAA70Co1omYYxjPJ6K8p4oonvVvBNT9wJSn6hdXHQL1MkFdMYfD_BwE

I will be there next sunday but those who go earlier let us know how it is and the diamond/7 star celebration dinner situation.

Part way down that page it also says "2 hours to dine".
    2 hours=90 minutes now apparently.

Will be curious to see if those who have reservation were faced with "experience" as opposed to just table. Interestingly, there are a bunch of reviews from 2 days ago on opentable.com...Not sure if this was a soft opening or invited guests???

Seems like CET is wanting players to go elsewhere.

Saw a bit of their stream, surprised a lot of things were self serve/not plated.

I'm quite sure that they have run the numbers according to every scenario they can, and have decided that the best return over the next several months will be to simply offer gaming, lodging, and EtOH and let the four-wall tenants provide the food and more EtOH. If they needed to offer incentives such as mid-higher player lounges in order to maximize revenue, they would but they don't need to. The true whales (and even the dolphins and porpoises) will have their amenities, of course.

Caesar's rep on local news tonight said they got 10,000 buffet reservations in 48hrs. He also mentioned they have done a multi-million $$ remodeling inside. In case you want to view it was on Fox5 News May 20, 10pm edition. Part of the story is in the tease at the beginning and then the full story at around 30mns of the hour long newscast.

From the live streams I saw of the buffet, it actually looks less appealing than before the remodel. Thats mainly because most of the new items seem to be "weird" items in addition to all the vegan/fake meat items that buffet customers have long been waiting for.

I find out for myself this weekend though!

Should i be making the open table reservation? It is so confusing since it does not list price. Am i willing to pay $65? Yes, but not more.
