Sounds like the March Madness group is in town. FYI over the next 3 days if you need people to look or move out of the way. Just yell 'It's up ....It's GOOD" every guy will look for a TV and you can walk around them.

And yes - I agree Jose A is a great person. He has been non stop the last 12 Months

 

Ughhh this March Madness crap.

Met up with @Jer and we're running around. It's rral hard not to punch people. Real hard guys.

Also awesome awesome night drinking and eating (or not eating at the bar, rude!) but we found a secret spot to eat food in peace. Away from the idiots.

You guys are right. This is A.why I've never come to Vegas in March before (March Madness....ha!) and B. The uh.....clientle. The specific people that don't normally come to Vegas but just have nothing better to do then sit at a Buffalo Diamond machine (with 75 spins and counting on the purples), just to be on their fucking phones. Clearly not playing a goddamn slot. And their 2 friends on the only other Buffalo Diamond, are the same.

Must.....resist....punching....!

There's these super adorable balloons at Aria though. Some have stuff coming down, like sunflowers, or books, or cool stuff, but in the lobby they have cute birdies ready to go on an adventure. It's pretty magical.


Seriously I think VDara was a great choice. It is SO quiet here, everything is chill.... it's 2am and it's soak time.


Also Pokémon Go on the Strip! Dude! All the items I can get! All the cute Pokémon I can find! All right here! Wow!

Ok I've been up going on 20hrs, I should sleep sooon.

 

Awesome report so far! Loving the pictures. I've always liked Vdara, and it seems like you get more room for your "money".

 

LOTD I think you just need to blast this on an 80s style boom box as you wander around Vegas!

Love his philanthropic efforts but have never dined at any of his restaurants before. I will FINALLY do so and am going all in at e in early May. Can't wait!

Was in Cancun 2 weeks ago and caught 25 new Pokemon for my daughter. It was crazy the difference in options!

 

Hey look, after 5hrs of sleep, I'm up! (Gotta pick up my rental car at 9a and meet my friend for breakfast).

March Madness, y are you a thingggg. Good grief.

Also shoot, I have not been up that late just chatting with people, in a long time! It was nice! We basically did the things I wanted to do before Jaleo - got my White Castle, wanted to punch people, grabbed a Guinness, and introduced Jer to the magic that is frozen Bailey's! And these ones had kick to em! Was good times.

And it was nice to come home to some quiet, with soaking tub because I think I got blisters on my feet? Haha.

 

Yessss I am so excited to see all the Pokemon!! I haven't played since uh, 2007, and some of these new fangled species are weird.

But some (like this cute electric zebra) are so cute!

That would be fun to have to zap annoying fucks. I mean....so cute to ride off into the sunset with.

 

I also want Jose A. to please take my money for being such an incredibly generous and joyous human.
We got China Poblano to go but there were some minor issues that got resolved, the queso fundito was a solid cheese disc for one, and two out of three of or orders were not what we ordered.
Still going to try them all sit down ASAP.
This was a monday btw.. probably not the "A team" working all around seemed to be theme.

Very fun report! I am also a huge fan of Jose Andres and Jaleo. I enjoyed my one stay at Vdara, and I am not sure why I haven't done it again. You have me rethinking!
