Harrah’s Cherokee is one of my favorite properties to visit. I haven’t been since COVID (was there in March of last year when things started to close down). They have an indoor and outdoor pool depending on time of year you visit. They also have a very nice spa. Laurel Lounge offers discounted drinks and bartenders are great. Beautiful property with mountains all around.

Harrah's Cherokee looks interesting, but it looks like a super-long drive from an airport?

Harrah's Ak-Chin does look interesting. It does sound like it's over an hour from the airport and 7StarInsider suggests a rental car to get around. Trying to avoid that for a more relaxing trip.

Yes, Tahoe is a different market than Vegas and I've done this personally.

Good to know! Tahoe would be beautiful for a summer trip. Our airfare would be much less than $1200, but would be a nice trip.

So was ours. We live in LA. Even first class both ways was still only $680 or so.

This is correct. I would book a first class ticket for at least 1200, keep the receipt, then immediately cancel the flight (free cancellations on any airline within 24 hours for a flight not to be taken within 7 days. It’s an Federal rule so all airlines have to adhere to but they won’t advertise it much). Then I would just find the cheapest flight and take it and pocket the difference.

Has anyone has tacked on a city like below during a 7* trip? Curious if they look/care whether flight/room dates overlap as long as going to/from LV? I'm sure the folio would need to be used on the first stay.
Home City-->CET City (stay) -->Other city
Other city -->CET city (short stay) -->Home city

Actually when we did our 7* last year the booth looked up our tickets to verify them. So I think they have had that happen many times. Just a word of caution.

I'm not sure they could see those details unless they stood behind you and forced you to sign into your account?
They could check that the flights/times and that the receipt wasn't totally made up.
It would be easier if CET gave a set amount of FP, someone in Seattle is going to get a lot less benefit that someone from the UK or for someone that has a big family.

I don't think they'd need to sign into your account to verify the flight was actually taken... as I understand it they'd only need the six-character booking reference and the passenger's surname. They already have the latter, and if one actually took the flight for which they're seeking reimbursement the player would conceivably have it too. That would be easy to plug into the airline's website... and while I don't suspect it would explicitly say "This flight was boarded", I can only imagine that for a flight not taken it would say the reservation is cancelled. That is, if it was a round-trip flight, anyway.

Won't speculate any further as I've never sought reimbursement for a flight like this before so I cannot speak from any experience. But just putting the idea out there that it might be easier than having to log into one's account to ensure the flight was actually boarded.

For SW I'm able to pull flight and time details for a future flight that includes only the fare type, but no payment details. Unable to pull up anything on a flight from a few months ago using the confirmation.
Have a flight this week, I'll try to remember to check if I'm able use the confirmation to pull details after the flight has completed.

I’ve done it three times with no problems but each time was at caesars Las Vegas so YMMV elsewhere I suppose.

It was part of the same family of properties as Tropicana Evansville before CET bought them. When I went it had the same vibe as the Trop Evansville.

FWIW, there's a little building just outside of the dome that leads to an underground walkway to the casino. Found that out when we had a weekend volleyball tournament at the dome a few years ago. We parked in the Lumiere garage and I would hustle back and forth between matches as the trip from the casino floor to our court was about 7 minutes.

I’ve done 7* trips to New Orleans and they verify your flight. Never had it done in Vegas. Btw, it’s fraud if you give them a printout and it’s false to what you actually did. I’m surprised that we have posters telling people to do that. I’ve seen persons saying this in another post last year.

Some have mentioned Caesars booked in first class which by CET terms shouldn't be allowed "applicable toward coach round-trip tickets".

Multiple people can be brought along, so if one wished they could bring neighbors, strangers, etc. and sell and/or receive kickbacks which would be legitimate.
