I am so loving this trip report, thank you. I am stuck here in the UK on Lockdown unable to go to our home in Florida for six months as usual because of border closures and covid! When I am in Florida I fly to Vegas every month for six nights and play UX video poker , single hand TDP exclusively . I have had some great hand pays on UX the biggest being 16,000 , and no tax for me coming from the UK . This has cheered me up reading this report every night , so thank you once again Flowers ! now go get some more hand pays. !

So, my machine really went south. Of course I was playing too long like a bandit. I left Flamingo substantially ahead but argh, the dry spell that I had was the pits!

I played until I got just north of 5,000 Tier Credits and decided that I would get my play up offer at that level, which was $1000 in slot play. It would have taken another 2000 tier credits and potentially wiping out my wins, to get to that next level, which was only another $500 in free play so I definitely believe I made the right call.

I also had about 6200 in reward credits so I also converted that into 31 in free play, giving me a total of $1031 in free play.

The conversion was going very poorly and then I got a small handpay. A kicker would have been $6k.... but better to get something than nothing.

We are heading out tomorrow afternoon, cautiously excited for the first trip of the year.

 

I had kettle corn for a late lunch and then headed over to Palace Station in time for 7 pm Bingo. I love this session, even though it tends to be more crowded, because many of the games play triple the normal amount.

I swiped my card and saw that I advanced again in terms of player level. I started earlier this week as Gold, then Platinum, and then at some point late yesterday I made it to President. The highest level is Chairman. Not sure that there is a big difference but I did get VIP parking pass for the garage with being President. When I reach Chairman, which I have once before, I will get a placard for the car that lets me park near the door. When it is hot outside that card can come in handy.




I got some take out pizza. It wasn't great but was good enough and was less than $7 for two slices. I paid with points.
