Cracked open my crowler of Victory Storm King Variant tonight for dessert. Despite its 11% ABV, this is very smooth with flavors of chocolate and coconut in the background. Really yummy with a thick head on the first pour, well balanced. I had a glass of wine with my Grandma Pizza, so I just used the wine glass. I’m a heathen.

    Buffalo Trace.

Found a stray bottle sitting on the shelf at the local Meijer’s and had to bring it home. MrsBrew saw the bottle and said I had two bottles behind the bar already.

She was wrong three plus an opened one. I may be set for a while.

Tonight (and lately when I have a drink) it's vodka and redbull.

Second day in a row for a Rob Roy. Never had one two days in a row. Used to drink dry RRs, but about six months back I picked up a half bottle of vermouth only to get home and find it was sweet. Tried it and it was fine. In the future I'll but a full bottle of Noilly Pratt or Dolin and use what I don't in a decent time frame to cook with. Only took about 40 years to figure that one out!

Ken, two reds at 9:52 am? Tad early for reds. Might I suggest a Sancerre or for a bit of fruit a Viognier?

In keeping with my vermouth theme, I'll indulge in a Crater Lake martini. You can have Aviator, Botanical, Dry Fly or whatever. If you have access, give it a try. Inexpensive (about $26 all in here in Wa), it tastes better than most due to the juniper being infused and it gives it a straw color, which is different.

Ok. Drinking a bear republic beer. Label feels weird like a stick on after the fact.
Never heard of the beer labeled but racer 5 is tasty and that’s what is in the can.....guess the aluminum shortage (so short it is 50 cents a pound here) is the cause.
So I peeled a little 99D964CD-DAB3-44F2-A331-03C2BCA4613B.jpeg then tore back part of the label 422D05E5-1220-4DA4-90F0-BF9BB2EB367A.jpeg and then the whole thing. 797E1073-2B84-41C4-8DB0-1A40E60424B8.jpeg Glad it wasn’t a Budweiser can.....

I think using a blood orange would be considered an Old Fashioned upgrade.

Post-vaccination Bud Light at Bdubs.... Haha heard from my friends the shot gives a little bit of a hangover a few hours later, so I'm going with the "Can't get hungover if you are still drunk" logic. Cheers!

Cara Cara is a navel. It's a fairly recent natural mutation from a Washington navel. The blood is a natural mutation, as well.
