This is my second day in a row that I had a complete turkey dinner. Turkey, gravy, mashed potatoes, dressing, cranberry sauce, and ham.

With a side of rib-eye steak and broccoli florets.

Even pumpkin pie or pumpkin crunch for dessert. Yep, I had lots of leftovers.

French dip sliders last night. Too rich - I'd already adapted the topping a little but still too much butter. Delicious though ;-) PXL_20201129_001521960.jpg

Last night, I made crab cakes, fresh-cut steak fries and a garlic aioli. Bought cole slaw. Delish!

Turkey Night 3: wild rice, turkey, and veggie casserole with curry. Running low on bird. Maybe turkey fake Mex tonight.

Whatever I can get Mag to eat. She isn't big on leftovers, and I hate to waste food. Still have some cilantro hanging on outdoors.

Made a ham yesterday so just finished making a crockpot of French Canadian pea soup for tomorrow; my favourite.

Needed something that wasn’t turkey tonight. Pulled together a nice spinach salad with balsamic, craisins, walnuts and pomegranate.

And a porterhouse with some grill marks I’m very proud of :)

And the dog really enjoyed the leftover steak.
Sigh. Diet starts in a week, so enjoying this while I can.

Due to my work schedule turkey cooking was pushed to Saturday. That said, we've entered a "turkeython". First left over turkey dish:
Cream of turkey wild rice soup. It was yummy:

Extra large buffalo chicken pizza slice. Definitely was for 2. This after having Turkey breast mashed potatoes gravy stuffing and cranberry sauce for 2 days. Of which unfortunately I got no pics of... 20201129_154206.jpg

Reverse-roast rack of pork. Typical brine with the addition of blueberry Illa IPA. Not shown is the blueberry-jalapeno sauce.

Wow really looks great I’d like to do a pork rib roast at some point. Also excellent pairings of wine.

Nice. We'll be taking down a few more of the pork loin chops we didn't get to last night. Like the leftover potatoes idea. And we still have romaine hearts for greenery.

(But we also have last night's green chile mac.)

I can't speak for the others but it's just recipes and being open to a lot of types of food/cuisines. (We do of course ad lib at times, too.) But on behalf of T, we say thanks, amigo.

Thanksgiving is officially over in our house. This meal signals the post-season. Normally, tacos are on Tuesday/Thursday. Not here! Anything goes!
