Serious Eats brown butter overnight yeast waffles. Holy cow. So freaking good. I don't normally like pancakes or waffles because I don't like sweet in the morning, so these plain are amazing. Hubs says they are also delicious with syrup :) PXL_20201025_125327653.jpg

I had my jaw cut up again Thursday, and some screws put in. So I couldn't bite anything and chewing is a bit difficult. The cure for that is this 5oz cut of Kagoshima wagyu rib cap that I could cut in to little bites and let melt in the back of my mouth before swallowing. Little bit of himilayan pink salt and black garlic powder for dipping. Yum.

Fettuccine Bolognese (was going to make pappardelle but that requires cutting by hand, while the machine has a fettuccine cutter)

Make sure you're okay with a combination of cinnamon and tomato. It can be an acquired taste.

Thanks to all for the Indian recipes. After checking up on all of the suggestions, I can see that I am in over my head and will probably never try some of them. But several appear to be doable and use ingredients I have on hand. Think I'll start soon, while my patch of cilantro is still nice, by marinating some chicken Tandoori style and throwing it on the grill, with a side of seasoned rice or garlic flatbread.

Not a meal, but I often need chicken stock, so had frozen some random chicken bones and rotisserie leftovers and simmered 6 hrs w/veg and seasonings. [IMG][IMG]
