Live TR, The Cal, Aug 24-28

Heading out tomorrow morning. Driver is picking me up and 7:00 then we head north for about 25 minutes to pick up my nephew.

Flight is scheduled for 11:10am and we change planes in Dallas (Love Field) to arrive in Vegas around 2:30pm.

Anyone know a good place in Love Field to grab a mixed drink?

Awww now you’re in my hood (DFW). I can’t say where to get a drink unfortunately I haven’t flown out of Love since November. But I welcome you to North Texas, even if your stop is short. I probably know a guy who knows a guy who knows your nephew lol! Safe travels can’t wait to follow your TR!

Sorry for the confusion. We fly out of Atlanta, change planes in Dallas. I've flown in to DFW airport many times to work in Fort Worth.

In 2001 I spent about 50 nights in FW, going there 12 nights at a time to help set up a new build production line at Elbit Systems of America. I can remember going to the Stockyards and eating at Risky's BBQ.

DFW.....like 3:30 to and fro is
a bad day. Golf is cheap and a stop going and coming could mean golf. But noooo, vegas calls.

Yep Risky’s is a thing here. It’s not my favorite but it’s a Fort Worth icon. Any given day of the week you will see lawyers having drinks at lunch there— I work in the legal field and I left Dallas in 2005 and never looked back. Cowtown has my heart, for better or worse.
