CET "Blasts from the past" quiz bonus

CET is giving out 100 tier points if you complete the Blasts from the past' quiz and mini survey. This popped up in an app alert, but is also on their website. At the end you must manually enter your name and player number.

I'm thinking this was all about the last few questions on how comfortable you are returning and what you miss the most but it was a quick 100 points.

 

Did it....wonder how long it takes for the points to post? Edit....after several hours....mine has not posted....

Took the survey this morning on my phone app and the points posted on my TR account about 30 minutes later

 

Just took the test. Now, I'll have 100 points.

 

I don't sweat tier points as I almost never get over 5,000 a year, but I stay at Platinum via Visa card.
Did it and got one wrong.

When I originally signed up, I got something for being a veteran, but I can't remember what. But whatever it was, it's gone now.

I do the exact same... but an extra few hundred tier credits can't hurt, especially because once you hit 5k you get a free room night in Vegas or AC. So if you can knock out say 500 TCs from these types of promos and you'd only have earned 4,500 TCs during the year, wouldn't you rather have extended yourself to getting a free room night for doing virtually nothing extra?

 

I get free rooms all year, except for major holidays like NYE and sometimes even then.

 

You don’t get to 5K tier points annually but still get free rooms? Even if it was only mid week at places like Flamingo that’s still amazing

 

Based on ADT, so one trip where you get 3k TCs over two nights via strong action for example would get you rooms at almost any CET property. I know this bc I did it years back.

 

That makes sense. It just means if you only went one time per year to get that adt that you would actually never get to use the free rooms but they were available.

 

Actually, it does make sense. I was lowly gold 4 years ago as I couldn't go to Vegas save for one time that year in August, when I earned 3k and change TCs over 2 days. I continued to get offers well into the next year, including a comped 4 nights at PH over a weekend and a few hundred in food. I took that offer the following year.

 

As an aside, did everyone get their points immediately after filling out the survey? I didn't lol
