Anyone else think it is funny that this was posted as sarcasm, implying that they were just silly rumors, yet 3 of them have actually happened, just a month or so later? :D

skyscanner took a lot of flack here for posting about the lounge permanently closing, which ended up to be totally true. Hmm, I don't see any of the naysayers given him/her flack anymore!

Since no one else has stepped up to say it. I'll say thanks skyscanner for getting this scoop and posting this here!

Tunica Roadhouse doesn't even have a casino any more - why would it have a lounge?

If that's the case and they are a business, why have any?

they make a lot of sense in the locals markets for good players. Cheaper than giving someone $25 to the cafe in many cases. If you're putting $100k a year through a slot machine and hardly use hotel rooms, they need something that feels rewarding to offer you.

Personally, I think their value in Vegas isn't outrageously high...they need to have the right hotel room and amenities to keep you engaged there, not so much a lounge with cookies. And I think the value of a 7* one would be weak.

Well, at least that is a positive change. It would improve their hotel standard.

Those lounges are a key factor in our maintaining DL play.

We always make good use of them, even making it a meal sometimes.

More than once in Vegas we had plans for dinner and drank too much along with snacks.... oh well.

We use lounges in Vegas, Cherokee, New Orleans often. You do pay for drinks at Cherokee but cheap and fair food offerings.

    Here's a scoop for you:

Tunica Roadhouse is being converted into a Nursing Home for old Seven Stars cardholders and retired dealers and it will have a Lounge with all the food pureed including chicken wings

Any word on whether Flamingo is still doing the free drinks in another spot since the lounge is closed now or anyone been lately?

The closing of the Flamingo DL has impacted the lines at Harrahs DL. Very busy last Tuesday thru yesterday. Management added more tables inside the DL.

So you have to run $400 through a slot machine to get access for 2 people?

    Access costs 1,000 points.

For every $5 through a slot, you get 1 point/Reward Credit
and for every $50 you get 10 points
and for every $500 you get 100 points
and for every $5000 you get 1,000 points
    etc

And, it is what you put through, NOT what money you put in the machine - unless you never even get a $1 win which would really suck.

Any confirmation that the $10 per day credit is still available?

Also how do the drinks at the Patio Bar for the happy hour compare to the old Flamingo Diamond Lounge? Ex; More top shelf selection and actual use of a blender for drinks? lol
