It’s consistently rated as the worst buffet in Vegas. Especially when you factor in the cost. So many better options.

Not been for 20 years or so but back then it was like totally 144 to the max ya know, with kids, kids, kids, kids and more kids screaming unsupervised and putting brown gravy on chocolate cake and such.

I last visited in 1994. I recall the prices being something like $2.50, $3.50, and $4.50 for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, respectively, and almost worth every penny. On the plus side, at one point they had a genuinely hilarious video that played on TV's that you could see while waiting in line. It was a faux news program, with clowns as all of the anchorpeople and correspondents, and the news items were various activities around the property. I wrote a letter to management letting them know how much I liked it and if I could buy a copy. They sent me a vhs tape of it for free. It was much better than the adventure movie / Steve Wynn vanity project that fictionalized the creation of Treasure Island.

"All You Can Vegas" on YouTube has a recent (November 2018) video on the Circus Circus buffet.

    I would avoid it.

We have a family trip every year, with 13 grandkids in tow we make 2-3 visits to Circus Circus during the week. The buffet is great for kids and teens. Its not 5 star but it isn't bad. The wife and I enjoy the comfort food aspect.

I remember going there in the early 80's with friends as that was all we could afford at that time. even back then, 35+ years ago, the buffet was horrible. They were adding to the trays of food by pouring from cans (canned food). Baked beans, fruit cocktail, corn, all other vegetables, etc. Nothing fresh or prepared in the back. I think the price was a few dollars, and I don't think it was worth even that. Back then, the Golden Nugget had one of the best buffets in town. This was way before the Mega buffets, or the upscale buffets.

The video looks not bad. The food looks better than Mirage.

oh how I miss that one. The GN was famous for their buffet. it was downstairs and always had a line wrapped around.
it was a Vegas classic. a special place. when I first started going to Vegas one of my coworkers told me to go to the GN buffet. I did and I was hooked.

Oh my, stayed at Circus Circus about 25 years ago for one night. Worst Vegas hotel I ever stayed in. If the hotel was that bad, how could the food be good??

Uh, not sure if yer goofin' on me or something, but the only Vince Neil I can think of, well, I would stay far away from any "Celebrity Chef" place named after him. :)
